It's goals and assists that win games. Messi has got about 6 assists(highest in the tournament) and 1 goal in 5 matches in playmaking position. That is about 70% of real output. He has about 3 MOTM awards already(more than anyone else) Whenever he's not scoring, he's providing direct assists.

I've not seen Ronaldo or Hazard perform to get such stats in international tournaments.

Show us the contribution of Hazard for Belgium in world cup or Euros, and I'll shut up forever.

It's goals and assists that win you games. The difference between a trophy-less Chelsea and the one who won the league last season is a proven goal scorer(Costa), and an assist king(Fabregas).
