logic is a problem for la liga fans.
the 15 UCL won by la liga is by 2 teams, i repeat 2 teams.
the 12 UCL won by EPL are by 5 teams.

the strength of a league is the number of top performers there not the frequency of one team in it. barca can win UCL 100 times and la liga wouldn't be the strongest league in the world. the league is about 20 teams, not about 2 teams.

and this is the mistake most people make....

you have la liga where the top 2 teams have 95% pass mark, the 3rd best team has 80% and others have 30%. EPL have the top 4 teams at 85%, the other 16 teams at 70% each. which of the 2 leagues have the highest overall strength? even a kid of 5 would tell you EPL is the most competitive league in the world.

Mr Man you are still judging with individual teams ability. I'm telling you that to determine the best league, you should judge with level of excitment and not teams ability or calibre of players packed in one team. You're even going Europe? Is Europe a specified league? Europe is a Neutral ground where bests from every league converge. Suarez said "The Epl is the Best league in the world but barcelona is the best team in the world" it still doesn't ring a bell? Okay...
This i believe is based on excitment, level of competitiveness, and prestige.
Now this is based on calibre of players in the team, team playing style and trophy.

For Example:
In August before each league's fixture is out, you already know
Bayern will win Bundesliga with a very wide margin, Dortmund or wolfsberg the closest.
In the La liga its either Real Madrid or Barcelona with Athletico left to take the 3rd position.
In Serie A, its Juve all over again, In Ligue 1, its PSG. There are no excitments in these leagues were everything is known before it even scheduled. Twice a season we have the El-classico in spain and after that everyone forgets la liga exists, Serie A was more exciting when we had the Ac Milan vs Inter Milan tussle, but now we know their story.
But In The Epl
Before the fixtures are annouced, holders(chelsea) think they'll retain, then when fixtures are annouced it shifts to Man city becos they have the easiest looking fixtures to start with, soon when transfer window opens, odds shifts in favour of man utd becos of the calibre of player they acquired, During pre-season you get the thought that Arsenal might have a chance because of how they're playing. Now nothing is either certain or guaranteed in this league, many cracking fixtures to look forward to, Manchester derby, London derby, Merseyside Derby, Man Utd vs Liverpool old Rivary etc. You even get excitment in the EPL When you watch Newcastle breaking chelsea's winning streak or Leicester cracking man utd with 5 goals, Liverpool buried with 6 goals by stoke city, these are excitments that make the EPL the BEST league in the word, not because they have the best team or the best players.

The quality of football suck? Man United, Livrerpool, Arsenal, Chelsea have played UCL finals many times in the past 10 years. Four different clubs.
