Someone helped me to pay my visa application fee using a credit card and it is the person's name that is appearing on the receipt, is this going to be an issue? I am now in preapproval request stage though.

Quick question - Do I need to schedule an appointment (like... pick a date) before I can start a new application for my dependent?
PS: My preapproval request has been approved.

Hello dear, try sending now. MY PRE APPROVAL REQUEST JUST GOT APPROVED in less than an hour of sending an email now

Thank you for your response, the "create new" option is not showing on my dashboard. What else can I do?

Yes. Alternatively, you can create one for them in your own AVIT account by clicking on “create new” just beside your own “pending appointment request”

Do I need to create a different AVITS account for my spouse since mine is still in the preapproval request stage?

You fill a separate DS-160. Proceed to book an appointment separately as this is the new rule and find dates on the same day and go together.
