Alyssaxo:The person didn't state the date, only the month and year was stated. Hopefully, it will get to your turn soon so just keep checking your mail regularly. |
TimArinze:Sometimes, but it's often hard to predict as they don't usually stick to one pattern. |
Alyssaxo:I think they're in January 2025 now, they're through with 2024. I applied on 21st December 2024 and got AD yesterday, someone that applied in January 2025 also got AD yesterday. |
Excellent111:Yeah, you have to be there in person. If you want to connect privately, just tap on my profile and send an email request. I will respond to you via email. |
Lookngrams:Certification is only required depending on the school's requirements not a prerequisite for visa appointments. |
Excellent111:Yes, you have to book an appointment at the Embassy. Check online for how to book an appointment for certification of academic documents at the German consulate, the information is on the Embassy website. And the whole process is free, you just need to go with your application form for the school, original documents and Photocopies of the originals then arrange them as stated on the website. Also, FAU doesn't require uniassist, you apply online via the school's application portal. |
MrAAA2:I already got it certified at the Embassy. Thanks. |
Yokoyama:I already sent an email to the school and got an answer. |
Hello everyone, please who has gotten admission into FAU recently either this year or last year? Please did you notarize your documents using a notary public from the high court or was it done by the Embassy? I am asking because on the website it stated that it can generally only be provided by German embassies or apostille from countries that adopt the Hague convention. I am confused on how to go about this, please I need answers from anyone that has done this recently and gotten admission from FAU. Thanks in advance.🙏 |
Deebeloved:Be sure to send it to this address👇

Dartfinder11:Here is a an advice someone gave, perhaps you can find it useful 👇

Alright, thanks for the response.👍 Harry4cas: |
I was required to upload certified copies of my documents during application so I wanted to know if it is necessary to certify my original documents at the Embassy or if I can just notarize it an high court. Harry4cas: |
Really? Okay, thanks for the response. Holuvic: |
Did you certify your documents at the Embassy or notarized it at an high court? Holuvic: |
Hello everyone, please is there anyone who has applied for a master's program at FAU recently or is currently studying there? |
emyyjapan:Okay, thanks. |
pineapplejuice:Oh okay, thanks. I really appreciate the response🙏 |
Hello everyone, this is going to be a long post so I am sorry in advance, please bear with me. Firstly, I am grateful to all the kind and generous people on this platform who constantly share genuine and good advice regarding the whole visa processing. As someone who has been silently observing this thread for the past two months to monitor visa updates, I am simply amazed by how selfless and encouraging people can be on here, it's really motivating. Thanks once again everyone. Please I'd appreciate your kind inputs and advice, my questions are thus: 1.) I applied for Category B study visa for masters program on the 21st of December 2024, on the old platform and I got a reference number, of which I was told the waiting period was over a year. So, since I was sent a confirmation email that my booking was successful, I just want to be sure of this, I have no business with the new visa application portal, right? 2.) Also, since the waiting period was initially almost 2 years, I had mentally calculated that my appointment date would probably be sent around 2026, however as the updates here mentioned that the embassy was speeding up the process recently, I began to wonder if it won't be too late to wait for 2026 winter admission because my appointment date might have been sent before I get my admission letter, so I was considering applying this April for 2025 winter admission, which starts in October 2025 for my desired institution, is that a good choice? 3. Is there any slightest possibility that the embassy can actually get to December 2024 this year with the current pace? And if my appointment date is sent after my school has resumed for winter session, will my visa still be issued provided I have all the required documents? 4. I don't remember clearly, but I think when booking for the study visa appointment, based on my initial premonition about the waiting period, I had chosen October 2026 as intended start date for the winter admission, so if I gain admission for 2025 winter session instead and get my appointment date, will I be queried during the interview for writing a different start date or does it not matter? I anticipate your kind responses and sorry once again for the long post. Thanks in advance. |
