Yes documents are with NCA just like when doing your Evaluation with WES or IQAS. And my documents are already evaluated. Just left with writing the exams .
As for NCA materials, I am yet to get them. Still researching online and planning to get materials from a friend already in canada writing the exams.
U can also go to this IG handle for more info.https://instagram.com/naijalawyerincanada?igshid=sh91hdbxaxc0 And also visit the official NCA website.

Good Afternoon,

Are you saying these documents are already with NCA?(coz my plan was to send the documents when I get to Canada.)

Also, How did you get the study materials for the NCA exams. (Please pardon my questions)

Thanks.

Thanks MaloryTowers.
I won’t bother informing them since it isn’t necessary.
Cheers.

Hi Deeshe! I changed jobs but did not inform CIC....until request for Schedule A. I believe that the change in employment referred to in the link you shared is relevant for CEC applicants because that change directly affects the application.

Many thanks,
This has really put my mind to rest. I wont bother raising a CSE. I will just notify my employer that he may be called for employment verification.
gracias...
GozyNA:
She isn’t changing employment. She is resigning and like I said if her reference can be verified it doesn’t matter whether or not she informs CIC. The employer will simply inform them that she recently left the organization’s employment but she actually has the 5years work experience stated. There is absolutely nothing wrong or problematic with that. Nobody has gotten refused because they didn’t inform CIC that they resigned. People get refused when the reference letters they submit cannot be verified.
It’s a choice to report anyway So whichever one helps the OP sleep better at night. . cc Deeshe1
Modified: now that I think of it, I didn’t even inform CIC that I resigned from my last job but guess who’s already in Canada working?

thanks alot Jollyjols, if you are convinced that people have the same experience and re in Canada today then i won't bother.

cheers.

You can report if you wish to but from experience and common knowledge, it is not really necessary. If you feel so strongly about it, please go ahead to put your mind at ease.

Many thanks bro, it was clearly stated on their site that changes in employment status should be reported. see this link https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
jollyjols:

You do not need to inform CIC except it involves a chnage in address or directly affects your application like a child or marriage. If the work experience claimed is enough in terms of years of work. you do not need to inform them. DONT COMPLICATE YOUR APPLICATION. Good luck

The deed has already been done.

Do as you have planned. There is a 99% chance that your COPR will be issued.

What documents did you submit to NCA?

Mr Bekun Bekun, lol, my employer got to know because he issued my reference letter at the point of submission, and trust me every employer in naija knows what an IRCC employment reference letter looks like even if the subject is "to whom it may concern".
Secondly, CIC clearly stated on their web form that changes in employment should be reported, hence, my thoughts for notifying them.
But I will take to your advise and reconsider before making a decision.
Many thanks for your response.
Cheers.

First and foremost, why were you that careless that your employer get to know before PPR. This kind thing, na after PPR person dey let the dog out of the bag, when you already know say CoPR don sure. Anyway, nothing do you. Just maintain your champion. You no need to IRCC anything. Are they monitoring your life ni?

Even though when they give you PPR, it is clearly written in the letter that you don't take irreversible decisions like resignation from job, buying airline tickets and all that. But the fact is that, there's a 99.9% chance that you'll be given the CoPR once you get the PPR.

Another thing is, if you're very sure of all your documents, that if when they even call for an ADR you'll and can conviniently produce it without bathing an eyelid, you're good to go brother.

Just concentrate on whatever it is you want to do here that will make life easier for you here, even though it is easy already, except you dey find what Yorùbá call "bẹ́kun-bẹ́kún"

My one cent opinion

Hello Guys,

Have a little concern, I am 5th of March AOR and my application will be 6 months by 5th September.
I intend resigning from my office by the end of this month July, decision was made because my employer is aware of my application for canada PR and he has already hired my replacement to handover.
I also want to take the remaining time prior to my application approval to start preparing for my NCA licensing exam in canada being in a regulated profession.

My question: Is it ok for me to resign before getting PPR, I hope it wont affect my application.
I intend raising a CSE to inform CIC immediately i resign with explanations.
And I already have over 5 years of working experience which makes me eligible Pre ITA and Post AOR.

thanks.
