The salary cap has been increased to 33,000 plus kronor and which Swedish company wants to pay you that? They will tell you that Swedes speak English but yet the most important requirement to even get an interview is speaking Swedish, so how can you get a job as a newcomer?

Sweden has become extremely hostile towards migrants, don’t be deceived by what you see on YouTube and other platforms, DO NOT DO IT! I realized late.

They’re all liars, they will tell you how they’ve a job and they’re on work permit but when you research they’re cleaners on PSW with no chance of work permit.

Go somewhere else but I know warning will fall on deaf ears so travel and see, come and get your own dose.

What happened to custom recruitment? We applied since January and up till now nothing has come out of it. I have been applying to get a government job since 2012 and not even once has my name been shortlisted. Is it because I'm from the South East?

Those children are the only thing you got in this life oh...By swear and blood fight for those kids,,fight for their custody, take the case anywhere..in as much as you paid her bride price..na you get those kids...They can't short change you completely...

Fight for those kids and have them in you custody....after that, sit them down and explain life to them if they come of age... don't even think of marrying again for the sake of your children...

Train those kids yourself...show them love and provide for them with your strength...also don't forget to involve them in technical skills as they grow too,,be involved in their life..be their friends and watch them grow..

They are all you got ohhh..don't leave them like that..
As for your wife..leave her alone...don't divorce her (I know what I am saying...she will win the kids if you go through that route..don't agree to divorce her..no sign any paper..leave everything hanging there)..in 20 years from now you will understand why I said so

So my husband was visited by his mother. My husband has a habit of praying at night. He began praying (not loud) at midnight. His mother who was in the other room rushed in and said

"stop that, so something doesn't enter your mind."

There have been several instances where my mother in law has treated my husband like he is a stranger

One Christmas, my husband bought clothes for his mother — his mother rejected them, "they are not quality, why don't you use them yourself?"

To my surprise, they waived my application fee, and on October 26, 2024, I received my acceptance letter for Spring 2025. But, there was a catch: I needed to pay a $200 deposit, submit my English proficiency test results, and provide a bank statement or affidavit of support – all of which were beyond my means.

A wealthy church member promised to assist me, but fate had other plans. En route to Lagos, armed robbers attacked me, stealing my backpack containing vital documents, including my international passport. This setback dashed my hopes of pursuing my American dream.

Currently, I'm in my 300L year at a Nigerian university. Undeterred, I plan to utilize my 100 and 200L transcripts to reapply for admission, aiming to start in my junior year. If successful, I intend to apply for an Mpower loan, which, unfortunately, doesn't cover programs exceeding two years.

What advice would you offer? Which institutions would you recommend I apply to next? I'm particularly interested in schools that waive application fees for international transfer students and potentially exempt English proficiency tests for countries with English as their language of instruction.

The humiliation I faced upon returning to my Nigerian university, where both lecturers and students jeered me, has only strengthened my resolve. I'm determined to live my American dream and prove my doubters wrong.

It's not good these day's. I remember when I started this government job in 2010, I was earning 59k then, today my salary is now 320k. I jad to say this so as to encounter u to start from somewhere.

If you are transferring your service, they cannot pay you less than you are currently earning.

The only thing you need to worry about is requisite qualifications for higher posts.
