We are talking about hearing of bail application here in a matter that is not a capital offence. Unless if you are saying that is how the law applies in your court then so be it. But over here in my country once an accused persons lawyer file for bail application in a case that is not a capital offence, it takes less than a week for the judge to decide . I think such is an international standard in court proceeding

I believe that decision is left for the judge as he has not gone beyond the law. I believe there is a reason why the bail hearing is fixed at that date.
My point is that we should not always believe we know more than the people whose job are to make decisions in their own professions as long as they are within the limits of the law.
