You have to consider this:

1. If you decide to stay with your family and run your business in Lagos:

- You will make good profit
- You will pay 2 yearly rents (your house, and your shop)
- You will maintain 2 bills (home and business)
- You will keep your family together.

2. If you decide to relocate to another state:

- You'll make good/excellent profit, and face strict competition.
- Get ready to pay 3 yearly rents (your home in Lagos, in the school, and your shop)
- You will maintain 3 bills
- You'll be separated from your family emotionally, and expose your home to more risk


Can you actually maintain 3 bills? Do you think the business can thrive enough to cover it all?

Why don't you start small at your present location?

Just try and be a man and don't make your decision base on the quarrel you both have and don't try to run away from your family, think of your child and the first love that bonds you together. Start the business in Lagos first and see how it goes.You can later travel to do some field surveys where you plan to stay in the other state and see what you can do there.Even if you will move later,see that something is working.

Why not let down your ego a while and reason with your wife of starting the business in lagos? Your wife wants to see you successful and she doesn't want to lose you or felt your absence. Forget that you both fight or quarrel cos of funds, if she's advising you to start a business then she's a loving wife. Sort things with her and iron things out together at midnight as man and wife. The Lord will lead you through. Make sure you pray too.

I agree with you that she will felt my abscence , but most times we do quarell over some simple things due to her kind of nature and at times she do threaten to leave but I guess tht is just a threat not from her heart.

I am a family man with a kid , for now am not doing any work am always @ home with my wife though am planing to start a business, my wife have a business she is doing and she support the family with it , and most time we do fight because of money issue and the kind of person I am not always happy when there is no money, I told my wife of recent I need to travel to other state to exploit business there since lagos is very saturated of business the way she is advising me not to go that I can start the business lagos tht lagos is good for any business from the way she talk I know she doesn't want me to leave and settle down there and she is the one that normally complain that I do stress her that I do cause fight between us most of the time now she doesn't want me to go other state and reside to start a business . Please mature advice only no insult . Thanks
