Good morning all, please I’d appreciate a response because I’ve emailed the Brazilian embassy and no response yet.

My boyfriend (not legally married) want us to have our child in Brazil. He’s the sponsor. Will that affect any form of documentation needed for the Citizenship of the child? Same goes for us the parent, can we be granted PR and on the long run citizenship since we’re not legally married yet? Will this be an obstacle? And what are the possibilities around it? Please I’d deeply appreciate answers and ideas, on how to go about it.

Advertising like these are making it difficult to obtain Brazil Tourist Visa. They will come on this forum here to enquirers Information to their platform. Brazil doesn’t have openly birth Tourism like the USA, Canada. Brazil has a lot of Drugs and other domestic issue. They don’t want people to start flooding their country to give birth. Birthing should be private not public like this Advertisement. My opinion. Good luck to those women who want to give birth and waiting for their visa.

A colleague of mine who is still a Nairaland guest wanted to know if it was okay to state 1.450million as budget for her family of 4 who plan on visiting for 9 days in her Itinerary letter.
Will this be okay for them.
Flight, feeding, accom and tours.

I personally did not state how much I intended spending. I just wrote that my savings account had so, so and so. And I intended to foot my travel bills from there.
I told her this but she wants to state a value.

Veterans please advice.

You can apply as an unregistered businessman. Make sure you get reference letter from your bank when you go collect your bank account statement. They usually verify bank account by calling the bank.

As an entrepreneur or self employed person, you are expected to present original copies of your CAC registration documents when you submit your application


So if either you or your madam has CAC registration documents then that person having the document should stand as the principal applicant and sponsor the trip but you will both submit your savings account to show your financial capacity.


Alternatively, if you don't have any form of business registration just write a formal letter introducing yourself as an unregistered businessman and explain your situation.
