The Senate has intervened between the Federal Government and Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) over the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System, IPPIS quagmire, saying that the Government should not go into any agreement it cannot implement.
According to the Senate, it was disturbing and worrisome that the Federal Government will sign agreements it knows are difficult and sometimes impossible to implement Speaking on Monday in Abuja when the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) led by its President, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi visited him in his office, President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan who pleaded with both the government and ASUU should in the Interest of the students who are always the victims, to ensure that it is a give and take situation.
Lawan who urged ASUU members to be prepared to sheathe the sword to end the ongoing strike for students goes back to class said that the situation is not healthy for the country tertiary institutions.
He noted that the meeting was to enable the National Assembly to intervene in the ongoing disagreement between the government and the university governing body to put an end to the strike.
Lawan said: “Both Government and ASUU must find a common ground. We cannot afford to continue in this kind of crisis. This is why our children are forced to go to neighbouring countries like Ghana to school. What about those who can’t afford to send their children out of the country?
“ASUU must be ready to shift ground. It is supposed to be a give-and-take. ASUU cannot get everything it is demanding from the government”, said Ahmed Lawan who noted that he was confident that some of the agreements signed years back have already been taken over by events.
“I am sure ASUU is prepared halfway to meet the goverment to resolve the crisis for good.”

Ask her to get a payslip from someone and use the same format for hers as well

Please thank you for telling him this. @Kaampe1 listen to omopapa oo abeegg. I was ignorant, i applied twice for my mums visa with her business statement she was refused in 2019. now i want her to come this year , in september she started paying herself salary frm her business acount to her savings account. hopefully by february ending i shud process the applucation and hopefully its successful. please do the same to prevent stories that touches the heart.

Let her run some payslips for herself too

It's simple according to my source the government does not want the school reopening to interfere with the on going bbnaija so students just be patient from next week am sure they'll resume negotiations with ASUU..

Since the pandemic my company stopped paying us salaries our salaries now comes from another company a parent company I think and it reflects on the statement of account because both companies have different names so....
If I decide to apply for a visa won't that be a problem as I can only get an introduction letter from my company not the parent company hope you understand??

Pay money into that account. It's a business account any money can go in there. It's business.. business money can come from anywhere. You could run deposit with different names and indicate what the money is for. Same thing using bank app. Make no body decieve you.

That's like using company funds for your personal affairs if the company is registered then the memorandum and article should show how shares are divided among the shareholders they must approve the spending too and how does the trip benefit the company? I don't know how much she proposed spending if it's more than half of the company earnings then am sorry so if I where her i'll take the 1st option being the safest
