Nice points. Could you please cite the scriptures supporting this? After all we're all learning. NB: annual tithe given to God was eaten by the person giving the tithe with his family and the Levites, not just the Levites.

No one is talking about the law of Moses . We are talking about tithe . Tithe did not originate under the law of Moses .

The fact that it’s contained in the obsolete law does not negate its potency . There are other things contained in the law that Christians practice . Such as prayer, almsgiving, Justice , morality , Thanksgiving and honoring your father And mother . The law is a reference to many kingdom principles .

Then let's do the tithing the way it was done then. Annually and once every three years. And let's all come together to eat the tenth of our produce and give the once every third year tithe to the fatherless, widows foreigners and Levites. Mathew 23:23-39.

Selective reading and application. You should have been patient enough to Read Mathew 23: 23-39, you would have realised that so called pastors of today have turned Christianity to commercialism. 2 types of tithing was stated there, an annual tithe and once in every third year and none of them were given only to the Levites.

Try read your Bible more especially new testaments. Do an objective research and write another post with a possible heading of " 10 reasons why you shouldn't pay tithe but give voluntary contributions. 2 cor 9:6-7.
