einsteine: This is stupidity on your part
Tell the unionists to leave the Uber and Bolt platforms and paint their cabs yellow and start operating cabs. No one forced anyone to be on Uber. Uber clearly has no desire to own cars so I don't understand why you are bringing up fallacies to make up a non existent point. It is very simple, any driver that does not like how things are done should leave the platform. Instead, you want to create yet another useless rent seeking group. Who's Uber and Bolt without our Vehicles? Your thoughts are upside down! |

airsaylongcome: Impound their vehicles on what grounds? Many of the vehicles on Uber do not meet Uber's minimum standards and Uber looks away. Same with bolt. If you guys are asking for fare increase, they can agree to it and in response demand "strict compliance" with their minimum vehicle standards. For example a lot of the so-called ACs in those Corollas will never pass strict compliance inspection. Or is it the sounds heard from creaking CV joints, or the hard transitions when the gears are shifting? I understand that you guys are asking for and actually need a review in pricing. But ganging up to illegally impound people's vehicles will only get you guys in trouble. You most likely don't have the backing of the government and these multinational businesses have very smooth operators in government circles We are here to maintain standard, and demand they treat us as Partners, your job as a rider is to report such vehicles when you board and get the App Companies to block the vehicle from their platform, however those sort decisions is what should be discussed as Partners that we are, and in this partnership, we own 95% percent of the stakes and 100% of the risks! Uber and Both are just modernized Agbero, their only Job is to get me a passenger! Then you sit within the comfort of your house and book, I pick you up, drop you off, and you tell me to collect 400 naira??!!! Do you think the fares will be this ridiculously cheap if Uber and Bolt shared atleast 20% of the repair fees? Please let's be serious! |

einsteine: This is one of the reasons unions should be banned. In a free market, drivers who are not satisfied should quit the platform. You can go and do yellow cab if you think you are the reason the platform makes money. People patronise Uber and Bolt not you the driver so organising a cult to force higher fares is devilish and anti-competition. Now they will probably form gangs around to attack Ubers and Bolt drivers that did not join their idiocy. |

We can't endorse any App Company that's not willing to sign an MOU with us, that's the mistake we made with Bolt!
This is a partnership, if they want to run Employee Model like Uber and Bolt, then they should be willing to Pay Salaries, Pensions and other Allowances!
So let their rep get in touch with us using our Twitter Account @nacorpng! We schedule a meeting, have all necessary documentations signed (which will be made public for all drivers to see what it entails) then we will subscribe to their services
But if our Comrades in Abeokuta feels the need to give them a trial, no problem |

foolbuster: I actually feel sorry for people like you with your funny entitlement mentality . It is people like you that keep deceiving yourself into thinking you have some kind of right over something that is 100% not yours by any stretch of the imagination. Your type of people are too lazy to make the difficult but right decision of walking away and searching elsewhere, but instead you start dragging right over someone else's sweat and labour, or maybe you think people that own these companies just snapped their fingers and the company fell down from the sky and started operating.
To answer your question, what you see as wrong isn't seen that way by everyone, but you can do your part by walking away, if everyone does that what do you think will happen when there is hardly anyone to work for them?
Nature has a way of regulating stuff, there is the natural law of demand and supply and no one can do anything about it. That people are desperate is no fault of the company and if there are more than enough people WILLING to work under certain conditions for reasons best known to them then its just the natural law of demand and supply taking its course. why do you think corporations source cheap labour from certain countries?
I am totally against any form of gang up to intimidate people that gave you a source of livelihood when you were jobless begging, applying and going through all sorts of scrutiny just to work for them. Now you are working and breathing small you are ganging because you want more. Simply walk away if you are not satisfied and go else where. Cab Business is as Old as time, Bolt and Uber are just modified Agbero, their simple job is to use tech to link Drivers and Riders together, I don't understand what you mean, this is a parasitic relationship and not partnership as inscribed in the T&C signed The Vehicle is ours, 100% maintenance is on the owner/driver of the Vehicle and most importantly, we absorb all the risks Is this the definition of Partnership to you I understand you're doing your Employees Bidding, but understand, it's our singular right to push them back to the drawing Board! Uber some years ago was very Arrogant, I want you to know they were humbled, and will soon be a thing of the past if they don't adjust! We are not forcing them! We want them to know that their days of using the "Divide and rule/donkey & carrot Approach" are over! We won't use their App, we will continue earning on other Apps willing to actively partner with e-hailing drivers! Maintaining standard is not Cheap, so why the cheap fares! Are you aware the price for Corolla Engine is now 420k, that the moment you have issues, you are back to square one!!! This is a Breakdown for you so you understand this is a business and not charity! A trip from the Airport to Central business district is 4,100, you pay 200 toll, bolt or Uber takes 22.5% commission which is roughly around 902 naira, you pay FAAN 500 naira, then another 700 naira being cost of fuel, so from 4,100 your take home is 2,302 naira and you want us to maintain standard What's the Value of 2,302 naira! Please let's be serious If you can't afford a certain life style, stay in your lane! But don't lecture people running a business on what or how to earn! |

RichDad1: It’s justified due to the rising costs of commodities. However, drivers are know to be one of the most uncoordinated people. While some are on strike demanding for better welfare, others will still be working to capitalize on the surge demands. Hopefully, you guys can pull this through. this time, it'll be coordinated! If you must work, use other alternate Apps, if you're stopped and found online on Bolt and Uber, the consequences will be dire, that's why we are giving atleast 1 month notification so that we can all plan towards it! |

Hedonini: I can feel the pain in your 'voice'. This one pass Buhari fault. I understand. Country hard. But the point is, don't form nonsense unionism on top wetin no be your own. If you're not satisfied with Uber or Bolt, then QUIT and start your own private 'kabukabu' business with your own car. After all, no be Uber or Bolt get motor. Na you or your master get the motor. I don't understand why you'll be feeling so funky on another person's privately developed platform.
So, Mr bastard, shed more hot tears until your dormant brain is able to think up a better way to improve your financial situation. Ode. Mr Man, the average Bolt driver earns more than you can ever earn, but then again, it's a partnership! The moment one renege on the agreement, he'd checked! Bolt owns the App, we own the cars, as far as you know the cab system is as old as time, we can survive without them, but they can survive without us! So next time you feel that urge to indulge in conversations above your pay grade, remember to pretend to sound like someone that's a little bit informed, and not an idiot |

Hedonini: Fool. If you're not satisfied with the rates, why not quit the app and seek alternative means of livelihood? Why are you Nigerians so ridiculously idiotic and evil? Who force you do Uber or Bolt? I detest this entitlement mentality on top wetin no be by force. Very foolish animals, most of you.
Go and find work na. Go and start your own business. It is not by force to be am Uber or Bolt driver. You're a Bastard and a Complete slowpoke for spewing such rubbish, are you expecting fares not to accommodate the current economic realities, we offer premium cab services, and it's not for cheap Fools like you! If you can't afford to hail a cab, use kabu-kabu or better still get a Keke guy to move you around! What do you know about the partnership contract we signed with these criminals, are you aware fares are being subsidized for fools like you at our expense?? Mr Idiot, better run along! Ewu! |

Mooh247:

Customers won't support you guys on this...
Fare increase means customers would pay more... As if Bolt/Uber is not already expensive enough
But in all fairness, with increase in fuel prices fares should never remain the same...
Vehicle maintenance cost is steadily on the increase, with Engine oil , Transmission oil and brake fluid all becoming expensive... vulcaniser would charge you ₦500 for what should have been ₦200
. Customer will always go were drivers go, Enough is enough, the flyer is pretty self explanatory! Even the market woman in the market knows prices of things has tripled! Most importantly, we offer premium cab services and those that can't afford it should start using Kabu-kabu! |

Mynd44: Compliance is mandatory meaning they will beat and intimidate drivers who don't comply As long as you're an Uber and Bolt Driver, you must comply, if you must work, use other alternate App! |
