Hello guys, have anybody booked a flight with wakanow? I'm looking for the cheapest deal I can get. Heard booking with agents is far cheaper.

TRy to book online via waka now, it makes much sense i swear, booked Etihad airline wif den online, Lagos to Washington DC, and paid less dan 150k. Arrived 2days ago.
Always refresh d page and look for d best deal , wat u see is wat u get to pay for.

Thanks to everyone who has been dropping comments on this thread, its really been a huge source of information for me.

I have been an ardent follower of this thread, tho this will be d first time am commenting. I got my F1 visa at lagos consulate on Tuesday. Thanks to the good interview tips i got from here. Below is my transcript:

Me: hello hw u doing,
VO: hi good morning , why are u going to Western Kentucky Uni.

Me: am goin for a graduate study in health care administration.
VO: whic area of HCA .
ME: Hosp management.

VO: why hospital management??
Me: am a doctor, am presently wrking at a private hospital here in lagos, i want to acquire a graduate certf in HCA, in particular hosp management, so i can manage any health establishment, and eventually, later on..even establish my own hospital.

VO: oh..dats fine. ( mutes mic and discusses wif his colleagues, and types plenty on d computer) errmh, whic sch did u finish from?

ME: University of xyz Medical sch.
Vo: what year?
Me: 2011.

Vo: so u graduated in 2011, and u wanna start having your own hospital??
ME: No, i want to pursue a graduate study to position me well in my career aspirations, den later on, eatablish an hospital in Nigeria.

Vo: ok, thats fine..where do u work presently? Me: Xyz hospital in Lekki.
Vo: oh k, lekki.
Whus gonna pay for your education??

ME: I GOT A TUITION SCHOLARSHIP, my parents gonna fund it as well, and i also have some savings to support mysef.

VO: hw did u get the scholarship??
Me: i had an impressive GRE score, plus recommendation letters i got from my professor's back in college.

Vo: What does ur parents do?
Me. Nursing.
VO: In the same hospital??
Me; No, another Hospital. (I silently praying he wouldnt ask for the bank statement, cos parents are both Legal residents in the US, and it will be a red flag)

Vo: ok ur visa has been approved, pick it up in VI on friday... (hands out a white paper )...

Me: smiles sheepishly... thank u, thank u.....*dancing***

Advice for any applicant:
Pls put God first...buhh make sure u do ur standardised test, make sure u pass GRE WELL ohh..

Pls prepare ursef for the interview, dnt go der and start blabbing or stammering...imagine someone going for masters in the US, VO asked hw he got to knw about the sch, and he responded.." my friends told me about the sch, that its a big sch, they have fine..fine structures" ...u can juss imagine the outcome...

Follow this thread at ur own good! It helps...
