I find it puzzling that Fintechs with their small capital base can carry out millions of seamless transactions while our traditional banks that are more loaded with both Human and financial resources ae lagging Walai: |
If any American bank experience more than five minutes of network failure in the absence of any natural disaster, it will cease to exist that very day. Softmirror: |
its so puzzling and at the same time disappointing that in 2025, 21st Century, Artificial Intelligence age, a time when the world have conquered space exploration technology and is planning on building vacation homes in outer space that you will walk into a bank that prides itself of having decades of operation in one part of the world and the customer care will look you straight in the face and tell you that their network is down without shame when two-three year old Fintechs are breaking records in seamless transactions. I just don't understand. |
Yeah, I understand you but that woman out there in one corner of the street under sun with a child strapped on her back need some patronage. Both has to be balanced anyway. I understand some people don't like the inconvenience of street buying, my wife for example but I do it for humanity's sake. maasoap: |
Guys try and be helping people in any little way you can. There's so much hunger and frustration out there. Recently, I have stopped buying some items in malls so I can patronize the women selling fruits and other perishables. I cant even remember the number of times I sent out urgent 5k, 10k, 15k etc. to help people this month alone. It's so tiring. |
They are not difficult to spot nah, she's already shown you a major red flag and you're still speculating. Dunno why men find it difficult to spot red flags. Therock5555: |
Azione Verde University sounds familiar. They have a fine Campus in Portugal owned by the Catholic church |
Having a vacuum in any constitutionally created office is not good for our democracy and shouldn't be mixed with emotion. If the Dep. Gov. is incapacitated, the Speaker of the House who is the no 3 Citizen in the state should assume acting Capacity immediately. My prayers for the Deputy Gov. quick recovery though. CorperKola: |
Why not nominate the speaker of the HOR as acting Deputy governor until the Deputy recovers? |
Morroco, Tunisia and Egypt national teams is far better than UAE, Syria, Qatar, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq etc in football and sports generally.

Stop this nonsense and call a spade a spade. It is skull mining for rituals simple, nothing like grave robbery or whatever name. Day169: |
Just picture yourself as a foreigner who heard about a country called Nigeria, you googled it and nairaland pops up, then you click on it only to see all the news about killings on its front page. What will be your impression about the country? ![]() |
The way I take dey fear girls now, once I find out my gal is not happy, naso I go dey spy on her movements like detective. One time she saw my chat with one werey street girl. I explained everything to her, she stood up and enter kitchen to cook, I was just monitoring her dey check what she is upto. All these internet stories don mess up my mind. Imagine me not feeling safe with my gal. Its like I will take a break from internet. |
He is desperate because He made an argument for electoral reform as a way to change the country? You guys are so annoying in this forum. Someone made a case for one term Presidency with his point of view and instead of coming up with a superior argument, you are all busy calling him all sorts of names. Nawaoo WizardOfNG: |
He is not a member of your party yet you expelled him, like this people think we are all fools? |
Because he is not ready to pay dollars to anybody to elect him as Presidential candidate. FYI, Obi's over 6 Million votes is still intact and multiplying. Anywhere he goes, his voters follows him. Globad: |
Nothing but the truth. Obi is an institution. Only Buharis cult followership comes close StormpyBee: |
Good response. Gov. Otti is focused on governance, It is not time to change party yet besides he is not desperate like other governors that won election through INEC magic. Abia people have already handed him his second term because of his performance. |
My best friend during NYSC is from Gowon's place in Plateau state. You spoke exactly like him. He lost his elder brother during one of those Fulani Jos riots and I know a couple of middle belt guys who kept regretting what their fathers did. I have nothing against the younger generation of MB, they are very loving people. My Jos ex-girlfriend remains the best girl I ever dated for life. Walai: |
How did Ruth become a harlot? Her husband died and she met another man to make a baby to continue her husband's blood line supported by her mother-in-law just like modern day surrogacy. How is that prostitution ? Stayingalive: |
He entered Medical school with 190 JAMB score via quota system Walai: |
When a country's leadership is willing to make things right, they don't need an army of brainwashed praise singers and paid media manipulators, they just make things right and the people sees the reforms working. Congratulations to Ghana, they got themselves a working President. |
So unfortunate that it has gotten to the point where naija men have to embark on a trip to other countries to look for wife, what happened to our culture? why are our girls so uncultured and mannerless? I'm so worried for the future, we are fast losing all we've got on the altar of modernism. Rexnegro: |
, the bolded got me laughing. On a serious note, naija girls are no longer marriageable, the sad truth and the major cause of all this. Even guys that are doing well hardly marry these days.Zonefree: |
We all saw this coming and I said it earlier on in one of the online platforms. Next episode is Nyerishi Wike vs Asiwaju Tinubu most likely before or after 2027 election. Book mark this . |
I think the girl is pregnant, else I don't understand why they are rushing into marriage. |
You have not seen borehole you are complaining of the price . Then again, it's so sad that in 2025, having a central water distribution system is rocket science, a technology conquered by the Romans thousands of years back. |
If Gov. Otti is just another career politician, I would have simply written him off but we are talking about a technocrat here with proven records. Raising $1.3B through PPP is not rocket science for him, he is a seasoned financial Management expert and investment banker. Promise47: |
The British foreign service is at the center of the whole thing. They initiated a secret negotiation with Ifeajuna and Banjo. If you are a leader in a tensed military situation and you find out your subordinates are secretly negotiating with your enemies, what will you do ? I have researched widely and consulted many declassified files and evidence abounds that the British foreign service secretly initiated negotiation with them but what was discussed remains hidden in history. Igbophobia: |
Sponsored post to tarnish the image of Sen. Umeh. I don't hold brief for any Nigerian politician but bill sponsoring does not reflect effective legislative capacity. |
Are you a graduate ? what can you do ? Amingol: |
