Op your thought is as good as mine,
300k volunteers were budgeted to be captured in program in 2017.
According to npowerng, 300k applicants were preselected, now the 300k should also make the final list unless those that might issues ranging from age falsification, incomplete/fake credentials and those who are employed already.
Any preselected candidate who was successfully verified and has no skeleton in his/her cupboard should be sure of final selection, except magu magu comes in which l doubt cos l have high level of confidence of transparency on Npowerng. My only concern is for the process to hasten up

npowerng 2017 application is long overdue, this should have been completed December last year and successful ones shud have resume work by now. Haba! Since June last year uptil now huh

You can obtain it in your LG of residence secretariat.. you can also use ur utility bill e.g phcn bill in place of it..

those npower beneficiaries calling for permanance in the scheme fails to read in between lines...it was stated from day one and meant to last 24 months. ...even it was earlier stated to be N23,000 monthly until it was increase to N30,000....
by Dec 2018, 2016 Npower beneficiaries will exist the programme....

There should be an exit package of at least 200k, believe me those asking for permanency will be rather be asking Npower for their exit date.

Unemployment has been a cause of concern in Nigeria. Despite the rate of unemployment, many employers have raised concerns about the employability of the Nigerian graduate.

N-Power NG among other things was created to address the root cause of unemployment. It is an emergency intervention for beneficiaries to hone their skills during the stipulated 24 months, improve their employability status, become entrepreneurs if they so wish and gain experience in the process.

It is therefore disheartening to witness existing beneficiaries form groups insisting on making themselves permanent staff. Some beneficiaries in these groups have positioned themselves as having influence and asked many of the 2017 applicants pay a fee to them to guarantee final selection. This is a reprehensible act. The names of these beneficiaries will be published shortly and they will be dismissed from the programme.

Let us be very clear to the existing beneficiaries and the new applicants, N-Power expects everyone to conduct themselves properly. If anyone is unhappy with the programme, they are free to exit so another can take their place.

From my point of view, those asking for permenancy probably are finding it hard to save a token from their stipends which l don't blame them due to the economic reality in the country. l will suggest increased in the stipend from 30k to 40k, meanwhile the volunteers would be paid 20k monthly while 20k will be saved for them which will be paid to them at point of exit from the program after 2yrs. Trust me lf this is done, 80% of the volunteers will go out to be not only entrepreneurs but employers of labor.

On the issue of device, l want to believe the device is meant to assist the volunteers to carryout their work, for 2017 beneficiaries devices should be given to them on deployment to their PPAs not probably after a year..

npowerng you were doing pretty well until this PV issue, the way you are handling this PV exercise is very poor and a lot of persons might miss out. Already there are speculations that you are intentionally doing this to disenfranchised some persons in order to smuggled in some names from the ogas dem. pls clear the doubt by sorting out whatever logistic reason that is delaying the PV asap and let us know the start/finish date for the exercise as well as the respective venues for in each state..
