The requirement are: proof of ownership certificate, allocation paper of the number plate, valid vehicle license, means of identification of the new owner(regulatory one), two passport photograph of the new owner. Receipt and letter for change of ownership. The cost of the change of ownership of the vehicle depends on the make and model of the vehicle due to its engine capacity. On assumption, 50k for saloon car, 55k for Jeep and suv. Thanks

You can’t do it as a fresh registration unless they will manipulate the chassis number for you and it will give u issues in future. I am giving you 50k because I will collect standard number plate for you after the change of ownership which is going to take me up to two weeks for processing but I will collect 42k from you if you can get wait for one month for processing which you will be given re-registration number plates.

It is mandatory that you must collect a new number plate after change of ownership. The old number plate belongs to the former owner. He can use it on any vehicle he or she buys after. Plate number is not longer 38k for re-registration. Lagos state govt has even added 4,000 to registration for forensic certificate

Yes, it is possible. After the change of ownership, you will be given a new number plate and other document in your name. It will cost you 50,000. It takes two weeks for processing.
Note: The old vehicle must still be valid.
