Replacement of number plate. It will cost you 25,000 and also you will first do sworn affidavit and police report for loss of number plates

for existing number: 30k but the old vehicle license must still be valid. For new registration: 45k for vehicles below engine capacity of 2.0, 48k for vehicles below engine capacity of 3.0 while 50k for vehicles above engine capacity of 3.1

Not based in lag the Abuja own I was told here costs about 52k.. I think I'll remove d number plate from my old car just for fancy and not attract criminals

. But why not just register it once and for all. Assuming your old car number plates is a Lagos number plate, you can use it on your new vehicle. You will only pay the fee for existing number plates and new vehicle documentation

You can’t get it next week if you are a fresh applicant. Firstly, you have to enroll to driving for a driving school certificate

why not get other states number plates like LAGOS and ABUJA. driving without car registration is very scary..

Shuoo. Shey if the allocation problem is true then there’s nothing special. The website to even check for the allocation status has been down for over two months and if you don’t know this you’re food for our notorious friends in black.

The website is under maintenance. There are other means to confirm the authenticity of your number plates

your vehicle might be registered with a wrong phone number or either the error is from your service provider.
Kindly confirm the phone number used in registering your vehicle when next you want to renew

I think #60-65k in Lagos. Other States around #10k cheaper if not more.

registration shouldn’t be more than 48k for saloon car, 50k for Suv including third party insurance

I have asked more than 50 vehicle owners with correct phone numbers like mine if they ever got any SMS and not one person did.

Assuming the SMS is sent out, is #200 justified as SMS fee. It is sad commentary when a govt decides to cheat or fleece the populace charging exorbitantly for a service we all know is #4, or do they send up to 50 SMS messages to each vehicle owner.

What moral right does the same govt have to adjudicate and/or sanction any monopoly service provider that cheats the citizenry.

The sms is sent more than 6 times before the document expires as a reminder. It is sent in this format: Your Roadworthiness Certificate (10420702) issued by LASG-VIS on EPE777YY will expire on: 2019-08-23, renew to avoid penalty. To confirm RWC dial *554*38#

Most licensee prefer Lagos’ and Abuja’s number plates because they were and are capital cities respectively.
