I was told it might be complicated explaining to the guys at Dulles, dat it is better I go through same POE which is NYC.
At NYC , they didn’t even ask me bout my family, I guess maybe because our initial 6months is still valid.

Good morning guyz, i thank God for journey mercy and I want to appreciate everybody for their advice and good wishes. I landed in Newyork yesterday. I changed my POE from washington to NYC, paid extra 114k to effect the changes.
There were no issues at all
Me: Good Afternoon
CBP: Good Afternoon, how was your flight
Me: Great
CBP: why are you visiting
Me: Holiday
CBP: where are you staying
Me: ***** hotel
CBP: At where
Me: Staten Island, NYC
CBP: Are you in possession of any Agricultural products
Me: No
CBP: Have a nice stay , stamped my passport as Admitted.
I took the next available Uber to NJ, my family were happy seeing me again. Thank you guyz. Thank you Oga Seye. Will be back in Naija in 3 weeks.

Saw this post this minute, I need to advice u from personal experience, u have two alternatives if u still in Nigeria. Decide to join the family in US n start life there, or risk ur family not going back. Keep in mind the department of home land security and border protection, keeps a close watch on nairaland. If they already established that your wife stayed to work in the state by tapping her phone or possibly read through her fone at point of exit, visa my be cancelled,
meaning u have to reapply for another visa, which u n I know chances of getting another is zero. U can speak with other expect to establish the latest trend, wish ur family a good life!

Thx bro, I don’t intend to settle in US, the last time I travelled the cold was not too friendly, I couldn’t step out for the 3 weeks I stayed. Moreover I have my job and a thriving export business. I make almost same ting they make out dere in a month.

I was almost castigating you b4 reading this... but your wife working on a visit VISA is illiegal, I hope she wld want to come back sha cos most Nigerian women won't want to come back.. did you book your return flight together or separately? Like pointed out, why go back to pick them when they can come on their own? Be prepared for serious questioning @ POE if you eventually decide to go pick them.. your visa renewal is 50:50

What I know is that your footstep (Entry and Exit) is on record same for your family, although they are still within the allowed ''6'' months stay but your wife is working illegally in U.S which is illegal, your children education has suffered as well, which brings us to your main aim which I believe is an intent to migrant illegally to the U.S.

Thank you sir. I want them to come back within the 6 months so we don’t put our future visa applications at risk. I don’t intend to stay illegally in the US.

Good day oga Seye, being following this thread, i travelled with my family ,wifey and 2 kids to New Jersey via JFK in April, we were stamped in for 6 months to expire in Sept 2018. I left my family in NJ with the sister to work and make some money. i am planning to travel next month to bring them to Naija. I have booked a flight to Dulles, Washington with Qatar to pick them. I work in the financial sector and doing well. Hope i will not have any issue at the POE in Washington Thank you

i was so scared to, this is my first time of applying, i filled my form myself, but Thank God its nothing at the end of the day.

Thank you Lady G, i got to the embassy at abt 9am for a 10am interview. i ignored all dose guyz outside the embassy because i don read dis thread gan. we went thru all d protocols until the guy checking our passport said my wifes ears were not showing and she need to go and take another one, he sha made us spend the 1,500 we didnt plan for. we got in at about 10.45am. we were just praying for favour because the rain don beat us gan, at last we were in front of the VO, me, my wifey, 3yr old son and 10months old daughter and the interview went thus:
