If she initiate it and still feel remorse after, the only plausible reason (from experience) is that she feels the urge (uncontrollable) whenever she is with you and now she feels that the only way to stop it is to stay away from you, not necessarily that she is no longer in love.

My gal friend just called me 2 days ago and said she is breaking up the relationship of just 7months. I was surprised and shocked. When I asked her d reason, guess what?? She said she needs to focus more on God, dats all.... I had to let go. Moreover, am not just dating her, I see her as my future wife. I noticed she has blocked me both on fb and whatsapp. This same gal has familarized herself wit my family, friends, colleagues n sampling herself every where as my gal friend n posting my pictures on fb with all praises. Am still wondering if that can be her reason or is there any other thing she is hiding from me because am still surprised at her sudden decision and action.
