Ok so this is not meant to start trouble or fighting of some sort, I just want clarifications on this from Quran and islamic and religious scholars.
Quran chapter 3vs 46 says ' when the angels said 'Mary, Allah gives thee glad tidings of a WORD from him; his name shall be messiah, Jesus, son of Mary....'

Why would the holy Quran refer to his Jesus as the Messiah, the Christ, saviour? This sort of agrees with what the Christians refer to Jesus.

Is Jesus really the Christ? The messiah? Why didn't the same Quran call the holy prophet mohammed, peace be upon him, the messiah?

Confusing stuff really.

A friend of mine who lives in Botswana was supposed to get married this weekend but his wedding was cancelled because his parents and several other family members were refused entry into Botswana yesterday at the Botswana airport after flying SAA from Nigeria to Botswana despite having entry visas.

The brides family lives in Botswana so the wedding has to be there. So now they are not sure what to do as its not tradition for the brides family to go to the groom's family in Nigeria for the wedding. They have spent millions on top this wedding o.

Besides this is the second time they are cancelling the wedding as they cancelled it two years ago because the groom was not confortable with how fast their relationship was moving. So they had to slow down.
