Often some farm produce are lost to spoilage during transportation to the markets or before such farm products are eventually purchased. This greatly affects the export capacity of farmers
This thread presents our product which are formulations and enhancers form one of the best chemical in the world which have their headquarters located in Spain located in Europe .
This formulation is gotten from both Naturally occurring sources and also synthetically which are formulated under the best conditions and have gone through testing and meet the International standards organization(ISO) regulations. These additives we market is already used by other countries of the world to better utilize their resources.
In this context we introduce HERLENE-P which is used as a preservative for majorly agricultural products (e.g. plantain, tomatoes ,oranges etc.).HERLENE-P is a liquid product applied by immersing the agricultural produce in the HERLENE-P or by spraying the HERLENE-P over the produce which then forms a thin layer over the produce, after harvest .
This is then allowed to dry naturally or with drying aid. This thin layer formed over the agricultural produce slows down the rate of reaction of the produce with the environmental elements ,thereby increasing the shelf life of the produce. Basically it prevents the produce from ripening quickly which automatically prevents the produce from spoilage quickly .It increases the shelf life of the farm produce for a period of 7 days to over 14 days depends on the type of farm produce , the amount of preservative used and also the weather and environmental conditions Our products are gotten from naturally occurring sources which therefore poses no damage to the farm produce in terms of edibility and does not change the natural properties it is applied on i.e the farm produce are safe for consumption after addition of the preservative. The HERLENE-P is economically favourable for even small scale farmers as little quantity of the product which costs reasonable amount can cover a reasonable amount of farm produce depending on their sizes.
Samples of this product can be made available for testing over a period of time
Introducing this product to the Nigerian market especially Farmers, would improve quality of our farm produce and also enable maximum utilization of agricultural resources in Nigeria as a whole.
