Which Nigeria? Medical students are those studying Medicine or Dentistry. But then, whatever rocks your boat.

I know that will be your definition which is very valid. But in Nigeria, All Medical related courses in the College of Medicine or Health sciences are called "Medical Students." Except when you want specifics then you can say MBBS students, MLS students,Dental students.et.c.

So we all, like the thread suggested are Medical students.
The reason why I asked is because; I wanted to be sure the guy you are exchanging words with is a Medical student or someone that is not in any medical course.
