ive done that. Nothing dey show for screen unlike b4 it shows mi logo and then 3 options, reboot, wipe data and miassistant, and it keeps rebooting. By now its only rebooting and no showing anything.

Dude, don't even bother taking your Xiaomi phone to Ikeja. Half the folks there have never heard of the brand before and the other half are just high school dropouts with an archaic Pentium laptop and hunger driven audacity.

I remember when i took my hard bricked RN5 to one dude there in Ikeja and explained what happened to it in simple tech terms. Dude had apparently never heard of EDL mode and was hell-bent on cracking open the device as his primary intervention.

I kuku carry my device run for safety. Friendly advice tho, google and google till you find a solution.

Also, check telegram groups too. Lotta tech heads in multiple forums on that platform.

thanks, i went to ikeja yday, and I observed what u said. I left, but i met only one guy that has idea about xiaomi phones. But as I am now tired of trying to resolve it all alone. Na why I dey find recommendation from guys here so i can meet d person directly.

wen i firs bridge the testpoints using a short wire, battery was still connected. Could that be the reason Its not displaying anymore

I dont know the way out. My bricked xiaomi redmi 6pro is not back 2 life. Now its no longer displaying the mi logo and the recovery page. It just plain dark screen with the screenlight on. And my system is not recognizing the phone as it isnt indicating qualcomm in device manager of the system as i bridged the testpoints. @acekid109, @lavenderjade @adamix.

If anybody her knows an engineer In comp village lagos that can help me flash the phone back to life. Abeg.

Try to unlock the bootloader with mi unlock tool , then flash fastbooot file with mi flash tool, use older flash tool cos new one will request authorized account for anything

u dont need to unscrew anything. Just unplug the flex from the panel that's all

see the screwed plate covering the battery flex. Tmrw i will find someone to borrow the screwdriver. Thanks .i go give u feedback as the quest goes on.

not yet, the battery connecting flex is hidden under a plate. I will be need a phone screwdriver to unscrew the plate. That's where I'm stuck now.

U need fastboot rom..disconnect d battery flex den connect ur fone to laptop wd usb cable den use d copper wire to touch d two point n go to device manager in ur laptop.. It wl display QCOM 9008 remove d copper wire.. Den open mi flashtool tool n refresh den flash..wait fr 600 secs.. The fone wl reboot and all wl b fine

I have some few questions.
Fastboot ROM, will i download it with the pc b4 i star the process.
The battery flex, I cant identify it. My phone is not alike with the one in d video.
The 2 points too, i cant find it.
The phone i want to unbrick is redmi 6pro. Though ive opened the back but i will need to show u, maybe u can identify these things.
Your whatsapp number in ur siggy is stating last seen Sept 5. And I msged u, not delivered. Bro i will like u to guide me thru
