Don't cancel the order.
Send them a message on facebook with your order number and they'll hasten the delivery.

how many mb is the denim update?

The update download size is around 250-300mb. However as recommended by Microsoft, it's best to have a free space of atleast 1GB on your phone memory to install the update.
Downloading didnt take my time but installation did.

Reboot you phone and you will definitely see Cortana.

Go to settings & swipe left to applications.
Scroll down to photos + camera and disable the auto upload to Skydrive/Onedrive feature..Try and see if that works

To be honest,the battery bar goes down quickly with heavy browsing on 3G & playing heavy games(six guns drains my battery)..but i can play songs for hours and still have pretty much left
