http://bestmobs.com/every-iphone-6-sold-sony-makes-22938/ A report by Wall Street Journal revealed that the electronics company charges Apple as much as $20 for each camera module on the iPhone 6. But hey, before you go bonkers over the massive amount of money made ($20 times, say 30 million iPhone 6 is equals to $600 million), you should put the actual cost of producing these components in mind. Also note that OEMS don't put large profit margins on their products when supplying stuff like this.O boy see money o. Chai |
Pakistani nature photographer Atif Saeed managed to capture this stunning shot of a lion — just before it leapt at him. This photograph was snapped by at a safari zoo park near Lahore. He got out of his jeep to take the photo, but the sound of the lens’s whizzing caught the lion’s attention. Saeed figures the big cat got as close as 10 feet, before he was able to reach the safety of his jeep. http://bestmobs.com/neardeath-amazing-lion-photoshot/

The federal government of Nigeria has released the 200 billion Naira varsity funds for 2013 as agreed when the executives of ASUU held a 13-hour meeting with the presidency last month. Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe and the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission(NUC), Prof. Julius Okojie, confirmed this on Tuesday. Dr. Okupe who spoke in a TV program on Channels TV who emphasized that government has fulfilled it’s part of the agreement said, “At the end of that meeting, the government proposed that everything that has been agreed should be put in a Memorandum of Understanding and that the two parties should sign. But the leadership of ASUU declined and said instead of that, they would rather have a letter expressing everything that has been resolved therein, and that will suffice for them.” Refering to the death of death of Professor Iyayi who died in a road accident on his way to an ASUU executive’s meeting concerning the strike Okupe said, “It is unfortunate that somebody died but notwithstanding, that cannot be a justification for delaying the implementation of an agreement for 21 or more days.” While speaking to journalists in Abuja, Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission Okojie, who also said the varsity funds had been deposited, said that the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, had confirmed to him that the money had been deposited in the CBN. “You don’t disburse such funds to Institutions; it is not earned allowance. The minister of finance said since they opened the account, the money had been deposited there. If there was any doubt, NUC is here they (ASUU) could have asked the question,” he said. The NUC boss also revealed that government had directed vice-chancellors of federal Universities to extend the resumption deadline for lecturers to December 9 to allow ASUU members to attend the burial ceremony of Prof. Festus Iyayi. He said that Government will pay the salry arrears of lecturers who resume school on government’s deadline. “For those who resumed by December 9, their salary arrears will be paid. We can’t pay someone who is on strike salary. In a democracy, those who want to work should be allowed to work.” http://mycampusng.com/federal-government-release-n200-billion-varsity-funds-orders-lecturers-to-begin-school-on-9th-decmber/ |
