Hi Buzugee, what a name!  U fit the EXACT profile of someone I been meaning to speak to, ! Not tracking u or anything, lol. Naija boy,Mama Charlie subject too, but Im thinking of relocating to the US. Im well settled in Southwest MamaCharlie land,work in the healthcare industry, 'legalised drug-dealer' lol. I got attracted to the bit where u said u lived/travelled in Chicago for 8 years. What are the merits/demerits of the two places/countries? Now that the 'good' times are officially over in europe,heck everywhere, wud you suggest the 'American' life would be any better? What was better comparatively, would you do it again now, given complete control over the choice of where u stayed, would u stay there? Making a move from Naija to another country was a BIG move, now, making another move, would even be bigger, becos you're farther from the starting point, what was your life like compared to UK, how easy was it to switch over to thinking/living, diff taxing system,healthcare,( Love the NHS/BUPA  ) etc, Would love to hear back from you, as well as any other Nlers who has thoughts on this/has had similar experiences. |
