I'm sure Tinubu won't be happy.
This development in abia is indicting to him and his fellow politicians claiming there's no money.

There's no money yet they are wasting money on useless palliatives.

How many Fulanis have they arrested in Benue, Jos and Kaduna?
It's common knowledge that they dress in military uniforms to sack communities.

This "peacekeeping" story is fishy abeg.

No one is justifying their killing but at least tell us the truth.

Even if those guys are mad like ISWAP terrorists, they can't just kill them in that manner.

Celebrities / Re: Nigerian Military Releases Identities Of Fulani Officers Killed In Delta State by derecho(m): 7:55pm On Mar 18
I hope their hands are clean too. Because Fulani soldiers are known to aid and abet the crimes of the herdsmen across Nigeria.

So this why NA wants to raze down a whole community? Just because they are Fulani?

Now that their identities are known, the dynamics will change. South South would view it differently.

Education / What If The Ijaws Decide To Resume Hostilities Against The Nigerian Army? by derecho(m): 6:57pm On Mar 18
I see how some almajiris are celebrating the lawlessness of the NA.They see it as an opportunity to bully the South South.

The Niger-delta is unique and could surprise Nigeria. The struggle for resource control may be reborn... Money may not quell the issue as in time past.

Already many are seeing the different approach applied by the NA in the North and in other parts of Nigeria. This is a big minus for the NA.

The Military need to be careful because if this situation isn't well managed, it'd escalate
.

As it stands now, Nigeria is tense and breakup is rife.

When the problems start, you'd see even the army isn't united.

I don't think those communities would allow the military unjustly destroy their land and won't think of how to hurt Nigeria in a "little way"

Finally, the way to know a mighty man is how he relates with the weak.
Politics / Re: BREAKING: No Hiding Place – Nigerian Army Warns Okuama Community by derecho(m): 6:05pm On Mar 18
No be today. Niger-deltans are fearless and will fight back if any injustice is perceived.

The same Soldiers that are wasted by Boko haram and ISWAP in their scores in northern Nigeria now wants to behave anyhow.

If care is not taken, this will turn to SS versus Northern Nigeria war.

I know something must have happened.. Those guys can't just kill soldiers on a "peacekeeping" mission.
Politics / Re: Murder Of Soldiers In Okuama: Army Releases Statement On Misinformation by derecho(m): 5:46pm On Mar 18
There's something the military isn't telling the world.
Why would some irate youths ambush 16 soldiers...without provocation?

If the military isn't careful with this lawlessness, the Niger-delta might be another battle field.
People are telling you guys to fish out the perpetrators, you are burning communities. When the young men decide to fight I hope no one will be talking about peacetalk then.

Tinubu is known to speak before thinking. That's how he thought Niger Republic will cower.

Commonsense dictates that you find out what happened before taking action.

Politics / Re: Message To Okuama Community Delta State Over Killing Of 16 Soldiers by derecho(m): 5:43pm On Mar 18
Your wish/prayer is worthless.
Israel should go ahead and level any terrorist hiding anywhere.

Okuama people no send NA. I know if those guy have ammunition, NA would not be behaving the way they are now.
What you would've seen is dialogue.

I just pity the NA because they are being overstretched. If there's an external invasion, they won't survive it.The way they are going, they are losing the good will of civilians.
The military need the civilians more than you can imagine.

No one is emphasizing Christianity, maybe Islam.
I only responded to you asking what's attractive about Christianity.

If traditional religion is your preference go on with it but don't make it look like those who find it unattractive are doing anything wrong

babasolution:

That's my point,Christianity and Islam are emphasised in Nigeria like it's the only way and any other thing is demonised, why can't people freely practice what they deem fit, religion as a whole should be deemphasised in the Nigerian/African space
Foreign Affairs / Re: IDF Are Systematically Targeting ICT Experts In Palestine by derecho(m): 12:51pm On Mar 17
If that'd stop the Islamic terrorists, it's a very welcome development.
Deliberately killing people because of religion only to come and play the victim card is nonsense.

If the indigenous people of Nigeria start responding to the evil the Fulani herdsmen are meting out to Nigerians tomorrow, someone will start pitying them

The so-called traditional religion is the ideas of someone like you and because he was stronger than his peers made it a "tradition".

If you can't convince me that the " deity" you saw is true, why should I follow you?

Africans should free themselves from this nonsense called traditional religion.
Allow people to seek God themselves and not foist an untested belief on someone just because your father met someone practicing it.

Imagine, I should hold on to a religion because someone says it is "traditional "

Oga, use your brain na

Not all African religions require so called smelly sacrifices, some require the same sacrifices of Islam," animals".

Everyone condemns the killing of those soldiers. Though, we don't know why "peacekeepers" will be ambushed.
But why in this time and age will the NA be razing down communities instead of going after the criminals?
If this is their modus operandi, why are they not doing that in the north?
Creamypie:
