The Guruwerk Volunteer program will provide an opportunity to learn how business development works, and how to build a successful marketing process in a B2B environment. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your digital marketing skills and analytical skills in a fast-paced, startup environment. You will receive formal training around sales/ marketing software, best practices for digital marketing and leadership skills. You will work closely under the direction of our team. You will be challenged with varying tasks and projects that are critical to the marketing function at Guruwerk, and you will be given responsibility and ownership of your projects.

What You Will Be Doing
Organic social media scheduling and reporting, including sharing your input and ideas around content curation
Assist in developing and promoting social media content
Assist with video production and editing
Assisting in running our Google Analytics and reporting tools
Weekly reporting of paid ads over social media as well as the Google Display Network
Assisting in blog posting and inputting content on our website using Wordpress

What You Will Bring

0-2 years of Digital Marketing experience
An interest in understanding an audience through data and marketing experiments
Experience using platforms including Google Analytics, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram
Experience with WordPress
An interest in learning how to build a marketing practice within a company
Must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals as a team
Self-starters with a track record of achievement and the desire to build a career
Team player with ability to multitask, prioritize and manage projects

What You Will Get

3 months of real-world experience with a possibility of being extended an offer to work with Guruwerk after the program
Mentorship from a Enterpreneur and Marketing Manager with over 7 years of experience
Letter of recommendation/Reference letter based on performance
