We are no longer interested in this case. We are more interested in: 1. Our massacred brothers in the army. 2. Lack of funds to NBS to show us how many jobs the government has killed. 3. How anti corruption war is so successful that we are running back to top the list under 3 yrs. 4. Why BH is getting better weapons as more money is pumped into fighting them. 5. Add yours........ |

Godlylifeoneart: One should not be surprised Dozie is not ready to sink alone He would fight the system with all forms of resistance via mass buying and dumping by insiders to make the bank attractive to the minority investors (they are the cash cows of NSE) He needs your money more than he needs CBN sponsored bailout. As it is now diamond Bank is not a viable business for minority investors. The interplay of appreciation vs depreciation of shares value will be the order of the day until CBN wield the sledge hammer on diamond same way the defunct (late) sky bank received the hit. One thing we should all know, this emefie leadership of CBN is very weak and slow to act. Otherwise, many would have bailed out in 2017 financial year. As for me, in as much as Dozie refused to quit.. Diamond Bank remains on my red flag,( caveat emptor) Casino mode... |

If you are going to be given a board position, proceed.... Else, view it this way, if you are hungry and you need to eat, do you buy cooked beans or poisoned bean seeds meant for planting... Mcy56: I can never buy Sterling bank even if its returning 2000% profit. No need to ask me why, its my personal decision. Keep to your rules until you modify them. There are stocks I don't trade, even when ALL the time frames align technically. I watch them grow like wild leaves, I still never regret missing out. Insisting to make money from every stock that moves up is one sure sign of a trading account you will need a medical team hanging around when you are reviewing your trading records after some bad sharp turns in the general market. Sudden price changes should never conspire with your emotions to hack your trading account..... |

There seems to be smart money hovering above the market, but refusing to settle. This may be a good time to observe from BBM'S workshop, but not to meddle with his tools.... I have been trying very hard each day to restrain myself from using the molten wax and wicks lying on the floor to try forming some candlesticks to continue the present pattern. You avoid much trouble when your prediction about the market is wrong and you apologise to the market on time before the market sends you a query. |

BullBearMkt: ...good question @Agba. When I plotted volatility indicator (ADX) on both stocks, it shows that it's less than 20 which may backup your claim of lower volatility. But Sterln Bank does 3m volume daily with minimum volume in excess of 500k! This to me is an indication of "elite or exclusive" stock unlike the more popular ones. Same goes for IBTC.
If you look at the second chart posted in the above post you can see that the 2 stocks behalf similar to the index until August when Sterln Bank deviated from the falling index and IBTC follows mid September. Do we say, low volatility caused the deviation. No! I think there is something fundamentally has changed the perception of investors in this regard.
On the possibility of the bolded question, I don't think this is correct! Technically, history has shown that any stock that perform well in a "bear" market 90% of the time outperform the market during the bull period (and that is exactly my message in the post). You might want to research this by yourself.
I remember posting something on IBTC when I saw the same behaviour & just immediately after, the stock rallied to above 40
Watching the 'stringing pulses' of Sterling bank purchases in carefully calculated units, executed in rapid successions and without any regards to rationality any time it trades above 500K will test your patience to remain silent. Strings of 2K+, 4K+, 6K+, 7K+, 9K+..etc etc. Ask FXUSER.... You just keep watching in hazic amazement... EVIL TRADERS ARE CAMPING THE SOUL OF STERLINGG... |
