I wish I am joking. It is something I have noticed for years. 😂😂😂
You are not wrong. Check it out. Once you marry, 5 years down the line you start looking like your mum's age mate.

They want a wife, housemaid, chef, side chic, mother, home manager and bed mate at the same time. Is that not slavery?
For his family, you are a bought slave.

When you show sign of fatigue and weakness, you become a scorned feminist.

Best bet is to lay your cards on the table from the beginning. Celebrities and the celebrity marriage isthe worst hit cos you should be smiling and suffering.

Exactly. All these discos have long since transferred their operational, capital and maintenance costs to the customer.
During fashola first year as power minister, I paid 60k for this thing. That was in abuja. As I work there, nobody will scam me. I was told that every time I load, I will get 2k free. So if I load 500, I will get 2,500 till the 60k us finished. The 60k finished and nigerian civil servants being who they are, did not set up their system to end when it clocks 60.
I was magnanimous enough to tell my manager. The way she rebuked me eeeh cheesy, saying its the work of IT at HQ. If they can't do their job properly,I should enjoy. That's my luck. Till I travelled out, na so I dey get free airtime. I left around 70k work of electricity there as at that time. Should be more than 500k or more of today.
One of my tenant is using that. Still the same.
The caretaker of that house, his luck.

Akara AKA beans cake. Even soft drinks too. Not because I don't still like it, but because of the health risk. Akara too dey sock oil while of course, mineral due to its excessive sugar content.
Akara should not soak oil. If it does, it means one thing. You did not wisk it enough to incorporate air. Wisk like 10 mins min.
Made one not more than an hour ago. Love eating it with yaji.

Easier said than done. Be selfish - with 3 kids and a family to run! "Selfish" will cook dinner and keep you house clean!
Are you married?
If yes, how old are you in marriage?
Family › Re: Married But Lonely by descarado: 3:31am On Jan 24
Very relatable especially to both men and women.
In cases like this, its bext to look inward and love yourself. Be selfish. Start taking care of yourself as you would before marriage. That inner happiness radiates outward and is magnetic and positive. That polls people towards you especially your man.

If he is making baby steps towards you again, do not rush it nor start blame war. Encourage him subtly but leave it at his pace. It may take time, but this usually works. Also, if you have added weight in some places that doesnt look good, uou can do some home exercise and learn how to eat right. That your wardrobe may need complete overhaul.
Goodluck.
Most people think its all about gra gra.

He may have started having midlife crisis already and this is one of it's ugly sides.

The psychopath should be immediately euthanized without further delay!
That is why developed countries are far ahead of you guys.
Police do not kill people like this.
They are kept in prison for academic purpose.

His mind should be studied for years. Tests upon tests. That is how a theory is formed. Stats are collected from cases like this and professionals study and debate upon that.
Final result is what the society see. Things like signs that you are living with a ......and how to spot one etc are products of not killing him immediately even though he deserves it.
He isa walking experiment. Developed countries are not emotional. You make the society better by getting to know what made him do that and warn the society about people like him. Or get people that have such mindset early and make them u dergo therapy.
Also, after using him for such experiment, his various organs should be sent to those in the hospitals who need them. That way, the society still gained from him instead of kidnapping innocent people for organ harvesting.

nairalanda1:
Men cheat. End of story.

Yes, men can acquire concubines and wives, only after they have done the formalities and observed the rites and traditions and paid the brideprice and so forth.

You are here justifying sleeping around like some form of gigolo in the name of polygamy. That is not how our forefathers and how even today, did polygamy. They did not just mount any woman they saw, they followed laid down precepts to get another woman into their house.

Yes, and sleeping around affects men and the women they sleep with. That's how STI's spread. Plus, the children. It affects the children. That is why we have marriage, be it monogamy or polygamy, so that by force man go dey him pikin life.

As for wokeism, woke also means rebelling against monogamous sexual norms, so by doing that, you too are as woke as the femminist who claims sleeping aorund as a woman is okay.
Its official.
Now I know u guys do not know anything about feminism.

Feminism and being woke have nothing in common.
A woke woman will tell you sleeping around is OK.
That has nothing to do with feminism.

The enjoyment women around you have today were fought for by feminists.
Feminists include me and women.

In the UK where I live, women do not vote. Yes.
Women anchors in BBC were paid half of what the mn are paid not long ago.
Pregnant women and mothers with kids have it bad with employment. Not only in the UK.
Feminism fought and today, women have voice.

In the olden days, women are not seen in the corridors of powers.
Men have mistresses whom they move around with than their wives. Example lord lugard and his mistress that named your country. Wives stay at home as slaves. No education. The mistress controls your family and man. Mothers train their girls to be mistresses cos it pays better.
Feminism destroyed official mistress. Feminism ga e birth to mothers who have voices. Mothers who can go to school and contribute to the society. Women who can actually rule. The best monarchs till date in the UK are both women. Queen Elizabeth and Victoria. They made the country what it is today.

Should I go to south Korea and china?

You guys know nothing about feminism at all except what some low lives name it here.
My granny, mum were all feminists. Infact, in my community, all the ladies are feminists. Its natural and we are all born to it. The reason you cannot come and claim any child as a man from my area as long as you do not pay the bride price or come and acknowledge the pregnancy and the lady before birth cos as soon as a lady is pregnant, her people must try to contact the father. Once you refuse to acknowledge her and the pregnancy, go to any court, the child is not yours. That is feminism. Can I say our men are feminists too cos they protect their girl child?
Women will treat your fkup if you abuse your wife and vice versa. That is feminism

Remember, being woke has nothing to do with feminism

Na why I like my SIL, way back my brother always wanted fresh meals and my mum indulged him. As e marry, my SIL asked, you and who dey do that one?

I too gbadun the girl. All these GemZs... na mostly millenials and above dey brag about watching precum filled boxers.
Nne, I have never washed and its too late to start now.
How i go wash your boxer for heaven sake even if there is no WM?

The only person I washed his clothes especially during Xmas vacation was my elder bros and its strictly biz when I was young. Guy do not wear anything twice so agreement was he should pay me a certain amount for jeans(that one is triple price) and the rest. Mum came up with the idea. I initially said no but when I heard money, I started shining my teeth grin

Nigerian mums have made the male folks lazy.
All of a sudden, as you marry, you forgot how to wash you clothes and cook.

Mothers, please do better with your male child.

Financial abuse! I have confirmed firsthand that if you want to enjoy your marriage to an extent, you should have money as a woman. I have even written on it in my _______. You need money to buy certain household appliances and gadgets that will make your life easier. I do it a lot because I no get strength to dey do chochocho with am. Even something as basic as outdoor bin, I bought it to reduce the interval I run after waste disposers. I buy the ones I can buy and get going. It is me that knows how much time and energy it would save me _to avoid issues like this. If I keep talking with him, he would leave the one I need and be buying me something else. Then act surprised when I am not as excited as he expected.

Within themselves, I am sure many Nigerian couples have spent the cost of a Tokunbo washing machine on junks, wigs and beer. But somehow they still see washing machine as a luxury that average homes cannot have in 2026. It is priorities. Some would buy beer, but their bedsheets and towels are wornout. Some would buy wigs, but they don't have pressing iron. I don't live my life that way. I focus on functionality.

Relationship is the time to establish the kind of wife you will be. Maybe it is immaturity, but women don't do that, only to start it inside marriage and they get accused of changing or being rebellious feminist.
Poco, I am looking for a big land to buy in one igbo village. Do nigerians sell land in acres?
Family › Re: Should A Wife Wash Her Husband’s Clothes In This Present Age? by descarado: 2:17am On Jan 14
pocohantas:
It is not about present age or anything.
It is about the individuals involved. My dad washes his clothes himself and Mine uses a drycleaner for outing clothes and handles the rest himself. Unbelievably, I have never washed his clothes. I cannot date or marry a man who finds it convenient to leave his dirty sweaty clothes and boxers piled up for another person to wash. It tells a lot about your hygiene level.
But she is already married to him.

These are things to check out for in dating. But to Naija women, once a man doesn't cheat or beat them __he is a "good man".
The greatest challenge in marriage is not cheating.
We never talk about it and the society ignores it completely.
When the coin flips and the wife start earning higher than the husband she depends on before, expect everything in that marriage that will shock the living daylight out of you to happen.

Here, its very easy for wives to earn above their husbands cos most men find some jobs demeaning and beneath them yet such jobs pays a lot.

The man will frustrate you if you decide not to hand him over your paycheck. You will give him money to send to his people and he gets all the glory because you are covering his unclothedness. Thesame people will be yabbing you endlessly. That mansion in the village is built by you but you have to pretend that its your husband that is doing the job. Nigerian marriage is extremely toxic except you start fighting for what you believe in from the beginning.
I have seen so much that I now know why they said naija women abroad are wicked and not submissive. And they will never behave that way around foreign wives. Even if you are the one who brought him over or not, it doesnt matter. You are practically a slave to some useless cultural practices and religious dogmas that pins women to the ground. Anytime you wanna use your brain, you are termed feminist.

No wonder we are the poorest in the world.
What we see as average income in Nigeria is poorer than how some people living in the rural areas considered as poor lives.
