PastorKun: @OP I must commend you on this very detailed rebuttal of all the lies buhari's propaganda team have been feeding us on his supposed achievements in the past. However you would be doing this country a great disservice if you limit this rebuttal to nairaland alone. I would like to passionately appeal to you to compile this your rebuttal into a single article and edit it for publication in all our national dailies so that all Nigerians can benefit from it.
The younger generation are being sold a very dangerous lie and being presented with buhari as some sort of messaiah and these lies must be stopped. Those of us that know better know that buhari would at best send this country back thirty years if not back to the stone ages. ENDORSED!!! |

As part of the Poverty Reduction Programme of the Governor Ayodele Fayose’s administration, 2,108 women in Ekiti State will benefit from the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) scheme, under which the beneficiaries will receive N5, 000 stipend per month and N100, 000 as exit fund to enable them invest after the expiration of the programme -SOURCE Let's do the simple Arithmetic here 2,108 X 5000 = N10 540 000 Again 2,108 x 100, 000 = N210,800,000 Total = CCT + Exit Fund = N221,340,000. In a U.S.- Nigerian joint venture comprising Vulcan Energy Corp. and Petroleum Refining and Strategic Reserve Ltd., the Venture group signed a $4.5 billion (N697.5b) deal to build the refineries in collaboration with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Trade and Investment Minister Olusegun Aganga said today in an e- mailed statement from Abuja, the capital. refineries Two of the refineries are expected to be completed within a year. “We are working in collaboration with the Ministry of Petroleum Resources and the NNPC; we are working together as a team to ensure that in 12 months’ time, we witness the commissioning of the refineries,” Aganga said. Nigeria, Africa’s largest oil producer, plans to boost foreign investment in industries by making it easier to do business in the country. The government is focusing on changes that can improve the investment climate and on the overhaul of industries. The continent’s most populous nation, with more than 160 million inhabitants, relies on foreign fuel supplies for 70 percent of its requirements because of inadequate refining capacity, Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison- Madueke said in November. It exchanges 60,000 barrels a day of crude for products with Trafigura Beheer BV and a similar amount with Societe Ivoirienne de Raffinage’s refinery in Ivory Coast, according to NNPC. The refineries are to be located in areas where there are crude oil pipelines in collaboration with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. Each modular refinery, when completed, will refine up to 30, 000 barrels of crude oil per day and produce up to five million litres of petrol, diesel kerosene and LPFO.

datolee: Maybe you missed it
I wouldn't want to dwell on this now, however, I will copy two paragraphs from Prof. Wole Soyinka...
The question for you Obiageli, why did these people get out of the country, in worst cases like Uba Ahmed, get out of jail when borders was as tight as steel zip locks? Could it then be said that the border wasn't as tight as we were meant to believe? If this is the case, could it also mean that some officers in Buhari administration had a hand in corruption by letting some "special" people go while the likes of Ekwueme was in prison?
Finally, can we say that if high profile people could get out prison and the country, that smuggling and illegal oil bunkering wasn't stopped by Buhari?
I wait your answers, I will reply not today because it's time to bed in my side of the world. Thanks Archived Thanks in a million |

datolee: What was pure lie please?
Thankfully, they have changed the lie from GMB building two refineries as head of state in 20 months to signing the contract as NNPC chairman. However, keep a close eye to the lie (bolded) of barcanista and other Buhari supporters “initiated”.
Here was my first statement on the issue, Barcanista used the word INITIATED.
I still stand by the fact that Buhari did not INITIATE the construction of those refineries, please don't move the goal post to signing contract. Permanent secretaries can sign contract and agreements.. if you are doubt, i will provide you with links
What more, He also said "Paid of $50m loan within few days of assumption and cleared the country's debt"
I stand that he did not clear the country debt...in fact by the time he left office, the debt was higher than he met it
Please explain to me what I said that are lies? Let the decimation begin |

2. Buhari signed kaduna refinery contract
