PoliticsRe: As Jonathan Comes To America Next Week by Descartes: 11:56pm On Jul 31, 2014
AkinEgba: Hm! 50 odd African presidents and their wives, ''boy boys'' and bodyguards descending on the Beltway. I can imagine the traffic gridlock and disruptions it would cause. I hope that Nigeria is not among the countries who are being excluded from this meeting. If that is the case GEJ is Washington-bound, next week.

As I live in Washington DC, I will make out time to see if I can catch a glimpse of him and possibly ''protest'' against the insecurity in his land.

Mr. President, I have a little advise for you. Given that the topic of the meeting will center on the insecurity ravaging the continent, I believe Nigeria will take a center stage in the discussions, and that you are likely going to be asked to give a speech or make a press remark. One thing you must not do is to blame Islam and Muslims for the bombs going off everyday in northern Nigeria. You probably already know this, but in Washington DC, there is a culture of being ''politically correct''. Nigerians for the most part are known not to be able to imbibe the culture of political correctness. You must restrain yourself from telling the truth about Boko Haram and those behind it. You must call them a bunch of village Nigerians not affiliated with Islam. That way, you do not offend the Democratic party whose leader, your host, is in power at the WH, and who does everything possible to placate Muslims and Islam openly, even if they tacitly support the bombing of Gaza by Israel.

I wish you a good outing in DC, Mr President.

HealthRe: Ebola Scare In Anambra After A Corpse Was Brought From Liberia To The State by Descartes: 11:47pm On Jul 31, 2014
Sincere9gerian: There are various possibilities, including:

1. The deceased may have died outside the hospital setting in Liberia.

2. The deceased may have died in a quack hospital or health centre in Liberia.

3. It may not be a case of Ebola

4. The corpse may have been transported by road into Nigeria

5. The corpse may have arrived Nigeria by air before the Lagos first Ebola incident. The Lagos Ebola incident raised the awareness of Ebola to unprecedented levels so much so that no Nigerian would have touched any corpse coming from Liberia with a 10 metre pole.

0rlando0woh: This guy you are a big fool raving around!
Tell me one move the Yorubas have made towards secession or even regionalism, even in the confab they only played lip service to regionalism, you fools never pushed for it!
One Yoruba fool said he wanted every region to control its resources EXCEPT oil, another Yoruba fool said he wanted regionalism with Lagos given a special status (i.e. Continue to be developed with resources from across Nigeria) is any of those two proposals true regionalism?
You îdiots keep screaming about how you called for regionalism without any support, but I keep looking for where and when you actually did that without seeing anything!
Typical Yorubas talking from both sides of their mouths! Begin to direct all your insults and frustration to your Yoruba brothers because they never, I repeat, they NEVER called for regionalism?
Nna, Don't mind the stinking hypocrisy of Ndiofe angry
