Hello everyone,

I’m a designer working on a project to help people (especially kids in the diaspora and foreigners) learn how to speak and understand Nigerian Pidgin properly.
One problem I’m facing is that there’s no 'official' dictionary. Some people spell 'Wetin' as 'Wetin,' others as 'Watin.'
Do you think a learning app for Pidgin is a good idea?
How would you spell common words like 'Biko,' 'Oya,' or 'Chop'?
What is the most difficult thing for a learner to get right (is it the accent or the slang)?
I’d love to hear your thoughts so I can make the design as authentic as possible. No links yet, just want to hear from the house!
