Them suppose to arrest her self, those Ilorin teachers are very useless and proud, believe me na ordinary NCE holder she go be like that.
I have never lived in a place with non-accommodating locals like Ilorin. From the University to work environment, most of them make you want to leave like immediately. Most of them believe they can treat strangers anyhow and nothing will happen. Imagine just demoting the teacher who turned an academic environment into a motor park, that says alot about how even their leaders see things like this. She should not only be sacked, but be charged to court and given the maximum penalty. This is needed to make the students who witnessed the unfortunate incident realise the gravity.
I can bet it that she would be restored to her normal level after few months, that's if it's not audio demotion in the first place.

Please I need your candid advice.

My wedding is coming up in some months and I need your advice. My fiancé and her family are insisting on court wedding which I don’t want to object to. I should have moved on but she pregnant. What can I do?
If you are sure you don't want court wedding, don't let anyone push you into it. Resist it.
If you're undecided, I will advise you reject it.
If you reject it and they insist, hold your ground too. By the time their daughter is heavy, they will beg you to come carry her and do the most important (traditional wedding).
How some bride's families want to call the shots in matters like this tho, abi na she dey "wed" you?
Just so you know, if you allow this to sail, they will man your home for you in the future. Your opinions won't count in your own house.

Who don't you want to object if I may ask?
AgricultureRe: Lesgupnigeria (WaleAgro) Is Not To Be Trusted❌❌❌!!!! by DesireV: 9:17pm On Aug 24, 2024
SkylineFrozen:
Good morning everyone, Late last year, I bought 5 acres of farmland from ijebu -Igbo from him on behalf of a friend while I also bought 2 acres for myself. Prior to then, I took time out to go view the farmland, met Lesgupnigeria in person and also interact with him one-on-one. Since January I kept asking him when preparation for the farmland will start and he kept telling me it is not time yet. Along the line, I had a medical need that requires me to keep going to the hospital and so couldn’t have time, so I asked Lesgupnigeria (Mr Wale) about managing the farms for both myself and my friend. He said we will need to sign the farm management agreement. He sent it to us and I signed mine but my friend delayed a bit but eventually signed his but Mr Wale has not forwarded back his own signed copy despite asking him severally. Below are my issues with him.

1. I paid for 7 acres, when we brought our own surveyor, only 5 acres was seen.

2. I paid for clearing which was charged at N55,000 per acre and an extra N10,000 for packing and burning what was cleared. The clearing was shabbily done, it didn’t even look like it was cleared at all. The packing and burning wasn’t done. He said because it rained and that instead shrubs were cut for N180,000 and he used the N70,000 meant for packing and burning for that and was even asking for an extra N110,000 saying we owed him that. Pls note that he never asked me if he could go ahead and do that. He didn’t ask me if the funds was available for that, yet he went ahead, against our initial agreement and expect me to cough out N110,000. Moreso, if clearing was done properly, “shrubs” like he put it should have been cleared with it.

3. He said we will pay for perimeter survey, later he called it perimeter measurement and we were charged at N40,000 per acre which totalled N280,000 altogether which was paid. When I went there, all that was used as landmark was a tree standing on its own o which Mr Wale showed me. I have a video of that. I complained but nothing was done. No provisional copy given for the perimeter measurement. How come?

4. Lesgupnigeria rushed me to say if we don’t plant by June ending that we will need to do irrigation, and said we will need to plant 1,000 suckers on each acre, and he said per sucker is N270 so i paid N1,890,000 ( One million, eight hundred and ninety thousand naira) for suckers. There was no evidence of that when I asked. No video evidence to show the vehicle bringing the suckers or the suckers being offloaded. he got offended for asking him for evidence. Note that he also charged me N300,000 for transporting the suckers from Ibadan to the farm. At the farm, the suckers planted is not up to 7,000 from my assessment. I challenge him to prove me wrong.

5. Lesgupnigeria (Mr Wale) also told me that I will need 5 bags of fertiliser at the rate of N14,000 each which totalled N70,000 as well as an extra N15,000 for transporting it to the farm. He said the fertiliser will be used as they were planting the suckers. Pls house, is this done this way?

Doubts started arising when Mr Wale couldn’t provided some evidences I requested for. He also started ignoring my calls sometimes. He started getting less cordial. My friend wasnt happy with the feedbacks I was giving so we had to make an arrangement for a different surveyor and that was when we discovered the farmland isn’t up to 7 acres. I sent Mr Wale a message but he didn’t respond for 3 days.

Then I was advised to call him on phone. He claimed I didn’t know where my farmland ended. Ok now show me, but he has been playing games with me since then. Now he is saying he won’t be available to show me the farmland but that he has delegated someone else to show me. It is not like he has ever introduced me to anyone before. He never gave me anyone’s number so is it a ghost that will show me my farm?

I called him severally yesterday morning, he didn’t pick nor return my calls. I had to call him again in the evening before he picked the call on the 8th dial and his excuse was that he left his phone in the car. Smh! You left your phone in the car since morning? A phone with a sim line that you use for your daily calls, WhatsApp etc?

He gives the impression that he has workers but I don’t think he does. He makes you pay for farmland and thereafter become less cordial with you. HE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!

I am challenging him to show me my farmland and also show that he planted 7,000 suckers on 7 acres.

@Pavore9
@FarmTech
You ignored too many red flags.
If he's not cooperating, drag him to that Ibadan man's program... Oriyomi Hamzat. He'll learn the hard way.

The united states is not an oil rich country. Most of all thier reserves were purchased from oil producing nations. And your darling Nigeria use to be one of them. Today they have enough oil that could last them 200years. That is a country with vision. Whilst buying from us, we squandered the money. Now they have more than enough to sell back to us and make profits.
Stop misinforming people chief. You can search the world largest crude oil producers. How will you say USA isn't an oil rich country? They purchased most of their reserves that can last them 200years, where do you think they can store that? Google USA annual crude consumption and multiply it by even 50 (not 200) and see if you're making sense.

Removing the Beef subsidy

Potential Impact on Beef Prices
Implementing large-scale ranching could significantly increase the cost of beef due to the high expenses associated with establishing and maintaining ranches. These would make Nigerian cows too expensive for purchase as cows from Niger and other neighboring countries practicing open grazing will be cheaper in the open market.

Suggested Practical Solutions
Designated Grazing Areas: Allocate specific areas for grazing to prevent clashes while allowing pastoralists to continue traditional herding methods.
Conflict Resolution Mechanisms: Establish local committees to mediate disputes between farmers and herders, promoting peaceful coexistence.
Cooperative Farming: Encourage farmers and herders to form cooperatives, sharing resources and knowledge to improve productivity and harmony.
Community-Based Animal Health Services: Provide mobile veterinary services to support herders, reducing the need for long migrations and potential conflicts.
These solutions aim to be cost-effective and fair to both cattle herders and farmers, ensuring sustainable practices and reducing conflicts.

The Southwest is holding Aso-rock Office in Abuja
The South-south is FCT Minister in Abuja
Why cant the northern Fulani man feed his cow in the south ?
Lets be tolerant and restructure designated cattle grazing areas in every state to accommodate everybody.

As beautiful as this your write up would have been, the last part in black spoilt it.
The SE man running his shop in Katsina, is he paying rent or he just encroaches on any unoccupied land? Is he paying tax or not?
Comparing private businesses with occupation of Aso rock or FCT minister makes one think you copied the initial part of the write up from somewhere because, to accept that all of the write up emanated from the same brain is difficult.
Is anybody complaining about a Fulani herder who rents land for grazing in the South?

Yes he was diabetic
Once again, sorry about your loss. However, we should understand that some medical conditions aren't as simple as we see them. Imagine wanting to clean up an house that has remained flooded for say 20 years in 2hours. It would have been easier if in the 20years, some maintenance measures to reduce the flood or provide continuous drainage were provided.

Health workers aren't magicians. The fact that he required an amputation is an indication that his blood sugar control wasn't optimal over the years and the diabetic foot he had would have existed for years, it progresses in stages which amputation is treatment for the most advanced stage. This is apart from the damages the suboptimal sugar control has caused in other organs like the kidneys, heart, brain, eyes, blood vessels. Most of which aren't reversible. If you did an autopsy, the primary cause of death would most likely have been from those organs and not the amputation.
You'll now agree with me that 40days to fix all those is just a trial.

I'll advise that you and your siblings start close monitoring of your blood sugar, blood pressure, and weight as early as possible.
Once again, do accept my condolences.

I can conclusively say that you are just a critic of Gov. Bago. What he is doing is never a misplacement of priority, he is doing just what is needed of him to be done as a governor. Gradually he will reach out to those areas too. But most at times we don't always derive positive meanings from what we see out of hatred or something similar. Within just one year of his stay in office he has done wonders, he has done more of what Abu Lolo our former Governor did in his 8years. Let burst your bubble, Bago is the best governor Niger state has ever had since it inception. I would love it if we are reasonable enough to support our leaders with prayers rather than criticize them.
You most definitely don't know the meaning of priority. The fact that your state has been unlucky with governors shouldn't takeaway your ability to know that A should come before B.
If you think he should build a university before "reaching out to basic education", I want to believe you attended tertiary institution before pry and secondary.
What is needed is spending billions on Airport that serves barely 5000 people in a state flooded with Almajiri? Or scrapping off asphalt on motorable roads while neglecting vital bad ones. Why should Chachanga-Ostrich roundabout be reconstructed when Minna section of Abuja-Minna is bad? When Minna-Bida will soon start swallowing vehicles as rainy season has started? These are vital roads that will further open up the economy of the capital.

You need a teaching hospital when the general hospital is almost non functioning?
Seems you don't go out of that Niger, no right thinking exposed person will say Gov Bago is doing what is needed of him to be done. This gov will be 12 months in office and no single intracity road he started has been completed. Yet, he keeps starting new ones, even economically non-viable ones.

I'm criticizing him out of hatred because I contested the seat with him na or because I want to unseat him in 2027. I'm just a frequent commuter through Niger, not an indigene. So, he does well or not is the least of my problem. You either mischievously ignored my opening statement saying he has great dreams for the state or you're a sycophant, a political jobber, or neophyte. May God spare our lives, I'll quote you in 2027 with abandoned projects that will litter everywhere in that state. It's not by what a governor wants to do but by what the people need and what the govt have resources for.

His best, most appropriate and commendable project so far is the tractor procurement, if it'll be properly administered and the farmers would be secured on their farms. It's

The Architect Of New Niger state.
He obviously has great dreams for the state but he's poor with setting priorities or not being properly advised. I'll elucidate using the health, education, and works (infrastructure) sectors.

Immediately he assumed office, he started construction of a teaching hospital and converted the College of Education to a University.
This is a state with non functional primary health facilities & Elementary/Basic education structures. No matter how sophisticated the tertiary health and education are, they will be almost useless in the presence of faulty primary and secondary levels.

For health, the primary level(about 80% of health needs) is to promote health, prevent illnesses, and for prompt treatment of mild illnesses. This is what developed countries now focus on- prevent illnesses rather than wait to manage them when they happen. It's more effective and alot cheaper. Environmental sanitation, health education, nutrition, immunization etc are in primary health. Imagine unavailability of routine childhood vaccines & common antimalarials in primary health centres, women recklessly delivering at home, indiscriminate waste disposal, etc. All of these in the state capital, imagine what's happening in remote areas.
Teaching Hospitals, being at the tertiary level of care(just about 20% of health needs), are meant to attend to complicated cases most of which a functional primary care would have prevented. This governor neglected 80% for 20%. He prefers depriving children BCG, Hep B, Polio, and other vaccines to rather build a teaching hospital to later manage them for Tuberculosis, Hepatitis B, Polio respectively.
The cost of 1 teaching hospital will fund functional primary health centres in every nook and crannies of Niger.
Meanwhile, there are 2 tertiary health facilities within 3hours drive from the state capital (University of Abuja Teaching Hospital & FMC, Bida). The Teaching Hospital project in Minna is a misplaced priority, especially in the face of a poor primary health.

A similar thing is happening with education. It was in Minna I first heard primary school pupils run shifts. As in, due to lack of enough schools/structures, some pupils will go to school in the morning, return by noon or so, then some will go by noon and return few hours later. It's that bad. You can drive for hours within habited areas in Niger without sighting a govt primary or secondary school.
You'll wonder who this governor is building the university for. Same children who have been denied functional basic education? Or he wants them to start from the university? There are about 4 Federal universities within 4hours from Minna.
If you provide sound basic education to people, they will access tertiary no matter how far it is from them. The sound basic education would have created the needed zeal.

Sad thing is that, the Teaching Hospital and University projects are capital intensive and lack of interests by subsequent govts will make them end up being waste of scarce resources but primary health centres or schools require less resources to fund and even NGOs or philanthropists can take over the funding later.

On works, this governor asked citizens to remove interlock on road pavements across Minna with the excuse of wanting to plant grass. Months down the line, the road pavements remain unkempt. Many road constructions were started simultaneously, many of which were previously motorable. Works have stopped on some after scrapping the old bitumen and traffic diversion. Meanwhile, the roads linking the capital to FCT & SW via Kwara are in deplorable conditions. A whole lot of roads within Minna itself are not motorable. This governor replaced streetlight poles. The old ones weren't rusted or bad. If anything must be done to them, maybe repainting. Unfortunately, the supposed replacements were thinner and not as strong as the replaced cheesy
I forsee lots of abandoned projects by the end of this man's tenure and the ones that will be completed will likely not have maximal impact on the lives of the ordinary citizens.

I hope a random tweet isn't what LP will present to the judges as evidences.

What I simply asked for was spread, not winning margins. Infact, let's assume Obi had 2m votes in each of the 11 SE & SS states. Let's further assume he had 2m each in Lagos, Nasarawa, Plateau,Kogi, Benue, Taraba, & FCT while the other candidates had zero in all of these 18 states. He still needs 25% in 6 more states to satisfy spread requirement. Let's assume SW's liberality even gave him all of the Votes in Ekiti and Ondo, those are the 2 SW States with highest Christian population. Still 4 to go cheesy

To think Obi can have 50k people (if only 200k people voted) to vote for him in each of Osun, Ogun, Oyo, Kwara, Niger, Bauchi, Gombe is nothing but delusion of the highest order. I'm glad we both agreed on the 7 NW states. cheesy

The analysis above is just the best case scenario for Obi. He can't have 25% in Ekiti and Ondo. Was just trying to see if we would reach 24 states.

He would definitely be required to prove that he had 25% in 24 states before his prayer of being declared can be granted. That's after he must have proven that the declared winner and the first runner up had lesser lawful votes than him.

He would definitely be required to prove that he had 25% in 24 states before his prayer of being declared can be granted. That's after he must have proven that the declared winner and the first runner up had lesser lawful votes than him.

I'm glad we both agreed on the 7 NW states. cheesy

Get this imprinted somewhere in your heart, nobody can ride ethnic/religious train to Aso rock. Those who drafted the constitution were smarter.
This exactly was what the smarter candidates knew that made them go into negotiations in all zones.

The opposition will make a mountain out of this mote by saying Adeleke cancelled it because him and his deputy are Christians.
Unfortunately, Osun doesn't think that way.
Osun has more Muslims than Christians and willingly voted Christian/Christian tickets twice and defended their votes

Osun is not as poor as Ebonyi and Cross River.
Don't mind him.
It's unfortunate how people confidently display ignorance, misinforming unsuspecting folks

It's a very poor state, wonder why they are giving free services there. Almost the poorest state in Nigeria.
Are you sure you know what you are saying?
