No minimum age was stated for specialists... disqualification (as regards age requirement)was based on year of birth earlier than 1984 for specialists.

We can't say exactly, how many ASP (specialists) will be recruited. PSC announced that 1500 specialists will be recruited. They didn't give the breakdown across cadre!

For general duty category, 500 Cadet ASP will be recruited.

Hello all, hopefully emails will start rolling in from on Monday. The successful ones already know themselves, likewise the unsuccessful ones.

The major criteria used were 70% test score, original primary 6 certificate (not testimonial or other excuses), original degree certificates(not statement of results) original waec/neco results ( not printout/internet copy), Nysc discharge certificate for asp.

Also those that had As in the physical screening like height, chest measurement, sight, straight legs, communication skills etc are strong contenders.

Federal character was greatly used too, about 3-5 per local govt for asp and over 10 for inspectors and constables.

What's the difference between these two positions in NPF?

1. ASP 1 grade 09 (Step 1)

2. ASP grade 08 (Step 1)

If you read a post here and there is a part you seem not to understand, then ask questions. You don't have to attack people, because they are not responsible for your inability to comprehend what they have posted!

Some people don't have a long attention span, they read posts with anger, if you must become a police officer with a difference, then most people here will need to work on their temperaments!

My main concern is how the next list will be compiled, i observed that during the screening, people where graded between an A and a B, now, are they going to select only does with high score and A's in both physical fitness and documents screening?

My point exactly, that write up is kinda stale, they didn't follow that format. Cos after the verification/physical test, we had to travel down again for the "aptitude test" which wasn't included in that write up. Thought there was a recent press release to that effect. Anyways, i'll advice we keep fingers crossed cos no one has any idea what the next stage is all about. God bless.

we are still working on the original plan bro, i havn't noticed any deviation yet. Screening can take any form: verification of documents, physical tests, etc.

Aptitude test is also a means of screening.
