DeadPresidents:
Start with HTML first: html.net has a good course simple enough to complete in a couple of weeks.
You can always @ me on this thread since this thread can be used for any discussion and we're not veering off-tangent.
This was my path:
2008 - Was in Junior Secondary and started writing HTML with my small Xpress Music Nokia Phone
Started styling the HTML with CSS and got it looking better (still could not afford a laptop)
2009 - Bought a Symbian phone and started writing JavaScript and Python (Symbian had a runtime for both)
2010 - Started writing PHP/jQuery (Got my first laptop)
2011 - Started building websites for companies and governmental parastatals
2012 - Started University
2017 - Biochemistry/Lab Technology Degree at Uniport.
2018 - Continued freelancing and became a React/Node.js specialist.
2020 - Got a role at Nomba building software for their POS devices
2022 - Got a role at Paystack building stuff for their new expansions
Resigned from Paystack and decided to go into Cloud/DevOps
Basically this stuff take time but you need to put in the work.
Good luck!
I would like you to mentor me
