Sadly,our players makes the simply and basic thing look difficult with how they easily resort to back passing when an opponents mark them.

We once had a player that helped us with that. He would drop from his position to receive the ball and carry it forward. Unfortunately, it was called Shaku Shaku.

I'm just tired. Barca fielded Messi, Suarez, Bucket, Sponge and Mop yet they swallowed 8. You won't see him on their thread trolling them. Chelsea played with a far weaker squad yet we won't hear word on this thread. Since Sevilla conceded once, are they not better than all the clubs Bayern faced last season?

To survive, our LB must be defensively solid. Alonso is one sluggish mofo that has no business defending for us.

I didn't see any chance coming from the left side although I missed like 12 minutes.
I'm sure Kepa is faster than Alonslow. A Serie A team should come and carry him abeg.

I was expecting Emerson to feature yesterday but Lampard had a brain fart.

Nouman said something important. Havertz likes drifting towards the right side of the pitch, Werner drifts centrally too. With all of them moving towards the right side, Alonso was left out. When Odoi was introduced, he moved to the left side which allowed Azpi to join our attack. If Pulisic or Odoi don't play there, we may have issues going forward.

I once said that those cross-field passes Ziyech made against Brighton will be important. See how we were overloading the right channel. Ironically, two goals came from the left. Just a simple cross-field pass from James to Azpi made a huge difference.

Nothing much to say. Mount and Odoi played as wingers vs Barnsley. Watch their performance when they were moved to their preferred positions. The same thing happened yesterday. If you think you can play such a high line without defensive cover, lipsrsealed

Mount better in the wings? Did you see Mount in the middle vs Barnsley and West Brom? I won't talk about Alonso again. Can you predict our CB pairing for the next 2 games?
That pic you talked about highlighted a major goof we have been talking about. Didn't you see the distance between our midfield and defence? Our fullbacks push forward too much and mostly fail to track back on time. Do you expect West Brom to dominate them with that amount of possession?
Lamps did well in the second half but we had no business being in that position at first. I just hope we see our full squad soon and he gets a DM.

I won't talk about this anymore. The fact that I like Lampard doesn't mean we will close our eyes to some things. Alonso had no business starting that game. Silva and Christensen were our CBs yesterday, what will be our CB pairing against Tottenham? Mount is good as a midfielder. Is he good as a winger? How long will we keep blaming individual errors? Against Brighton, we had fitness issues. Against Liverpool, we played deep. West Brom is not the biggest of teams yet they found a way to expose us.
The team will get better once the new boys start playing. It doesn't mean I won't talk about what I'm seeing now.

Tammy may score some great goals but he looks like a complete poacher to me. He always gets into great positions for tap-ins and errors.
