Technology Market6 Tips For Safe Shopping Online This December by DeYizY(op): 10:12pm On Dec 03, 2015
Let's face it, there's every reason in the world to shop online. The bargains are there. The selection is mind-boggling. The shopping is secure. Shipping is fast. Even returns are pretty easy, with the right e-tailers. Shopping has never been easier or more convenient for consumers.

But what about the bad guys who lay in wait? Stay calm. You simply need some common sense and practical advice not to fall victim. Follow these basic guidelines and you can shop online with confidence.
Here are 6 tips for staying safe online, so you can start checking off items on that holiday shopping list.

1. Use Familiar Websites
Start at a trusted site rather than shopping with a search engine. Search results can be rigged to lead you astray, especially when you drift past the first few pages of links. If you know the site, chances are it's less likely to be a rip off. We all know the popular and trusted sites in Nigeria, buy from them. Beware of misspellings or sites using a different top-level domain (.net instead of .com, for example)—those are the oldest tricks in the book. Yes, the sales on these sites might look enticing, but that's how they trick you into giving up your info.

2. Look for the Lock
Never ever, ever buy anything online using your credit card from a site that doesn't have SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption installed—at the very least. You'll know if the site has SSL because the URL for the site will start with HTTPS:// (instead of just HTTP://). An icon of a locked padlock will appear, typically in the status bar at the bottom of your web browser, or right next to the URL in the address bar. It depends on your browser.
Never, ever give anyone your credit card over email. Ever.

3. Inoculate Your PC
Swindlers don't just sit around waiting for you to give them data; sometimes they give you a little something extra to help things along. You need to protect against malware with regular updates to your anti-virus program.

4. Use Strong Passwords
We like to beat this dead horse about making sure to utilize uncrackable passwords, but it's never more important than when banking and shopping online. Our tips for creating a unique password can come in handy during a time of year when shopping around probably means creating new accounts on all sorts of e-commerce sites.

5. Think Mobile
Research shows that 5.7 percent of adults will use their mobile devices to do comparison shopping before making a purchase. (And 32.1 percent will comparison shop online with a computer, as well.) There's no real need to be any more nervous about shopping on a mobile device than online.
The trick is to use apps provided directly by the retailers, like Konga, Jumia, etc. Use the apps to find what you want and then make the purchase directly, without going to the store or the website.

6. Avoid Public Terminals
Hopefully we don't have to tell you it's a bad idea to use a public computer to make purchases, but we still will. If you do, just remember to log out every time you use a public terminal, even if you were just checking email.

.
FoodOfada Rice, A Wonderful Food by DeYizY(op):
Ofada Rice is a generic name used to describe all rice produced and processed in Ofada, Ogun State. Ofadarice, has been linked to protection against atherosclerosis, ischemic stroke, diabetes, insulin resistance, obesity, and premature death. In addition to the matrix of nutrients in their dietary fibers, the whole-grain arsenal includes a wide variety of additional nutrients and phytochemicals that reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Compounds in whole grains that have cholesterol-lowering effects include polyunsaturated fatty acids, oligosaccharides, plant sterols and stanols, and saponins.
Ofada rice is also an important dietary source of water-soluble, fat-soluble, and insoluble antioxidants. The long list of cereal antioxidants includes vitamin E, tocotrieonols, selenium, phenolic acids, and phytic acid. These multifunctional antioxidants come in immediate-release to slow-release forms and thus are available throughout the gastrointestinal tract over a long period of time.
Scientists have also revealed that consuming Ofada Rice (brown rice) is far better in the prevention of diabetes as compared to white rice.
A 2010 study in the journal Archives ofInternal Medicine, which was the first to specifically examine white rice and brown rice in relation to diabetes risk among Americans, estimated that replacing 50g of white rice (just one third of a typical daily serving) with the same amount of brown rice would lower risk of type 2 diabetes by 16 percent.
Brown rice is superior to white rice when it comes to fiber content, minerals, vitamins, and phytochemicals and it often does not generate as large an increase in blood sugar levels after a meal. Milling and polishing brown rice remove most vitamins and minerals. In addition, milling strips away most of its fibre, which helps deter diabetes by slowing the rush of sugar (glucose) into the bloodstream.
Ofada rice is usually sticky after being cooked, and the aroma is one that has endeared it to the hearts of everyone that has set their lips on this african delicacy. Ofada rice is savoured because its taste is really unique and it tastes better than basmati rice.
The delicIous food is packed with nutrients as it contains well over 15 vitamins and minerals. It is an excellent source of complex carbohydrates, which are the best kind, stored in muscles and gives us energy when we need it. It contains high quality proteins, especially when compared to other grains. Rice contains all eight of the essential amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanain, theronine, tryptophan and valine) which help to build and maintain muscle tissue and make up enzymes, antibodies and hormones. Vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B3 (niacin), vitamin E, Choline, vitamins B6 and B9 (folate); albeit nutrients such as vitamin Ke and betaine, are only found in ofadarice.
We at Rihze Nigeria, sell the best stoneless, dirt free, very nutritious and very affordable Ofada rice and we deliver anywhere in Nigeria. We sell in 1kg, 2kg and 5kg variants. Call us today. 08143121957, 08187424461 or ping us 2B34CC73
