Politics › Re: Petrol To Hit ₦1,000/litre As Crude Crosses $70 — Marketers by dfrost: 3:15pm On Feb 01
nairalanda1:
Local drilling for crude is very expensive, and as such crude is sold at or close to international oil prices

That's why despite local refining, prices are going up.

Also remember we don't make domestic components for refineries here, and dangote has to pay workers at globally competitive levels. He can't afford to keep prices low
Understandable, let me agree with you. However, had AD made any official statement on this?

Are the marketers his official spokesperson?
Politics › Re: Petrol To Hit ₦1,000/litre As Crude Crosses $70 — Marketers by dfrost:
Okay, let me understand these marketers. Price of crude oil 🪔 increased or will increase, are we importing fuel?

What exactly are we importing to enable the increase in pump price? Are we not refining locally via Dangote's refinery?

The courting of Dangote by marketers is funny. Time shall tell.

That dreaded period where the heat will get to everyone is getting close. Not even those in Diaspora will escape the heat. Everyone should be doing what they are doing.

Business › Re: Business Names Vs Trademark Registration: Lessons From The “Ratel” Drama by dfrost: 12:11pm On Jan 24
Hypnotise:
In future, and with advancements in AI and crypto, the process of registering trademarks, ownership verification and the likes will gradually be replaced by “minting” on the blockchain. This is because more people would be able to prove ownership since all information is registered on the digital database. Anyone can trademark anything from their parlour.
Exactly 💯.

When you talk about blockchain, must people immediately think cryptocurrency 😂. It's more than that. Blockchain can be applied in almost all facets or life and transactions especially verification et al.

Imagine having a digital ledger where you can know who has acquired a land based on the information on the blockchain ledger.

Just imagine the possibilities especially not buying purchased land.

This is just one aspect ooh.

When US struck, some people were shocked at Sokoto. If you don't work within the Intel community, just don't say what you don't know.

Terrorists usually have a big backing, either in funds or ideology.

Lagos state govt will soon sandfill the demolish section and turn it to Estate. The same state govt that demolished more than 1000 buildings and bussiness around Amikanle kola Alagbado power line few month ago has sold same reclaimed land to the highest bidder.
Massive construction is going under the Amikanle Kola power line now, no safety concern again as claimed?
Who lost ? it's the same poor people who can't pay the new cost of the stolen land.
If truly it was for safety, why was mountain of fire church left untouched at Amikanle. Why did you take more than 100mtrs from Makoko.....Make una dey fear God
That Amikanle through Alade Stadium area beat my imagination espcially the leveling that took place when I passed through that area. I passed by later on and saw buildings gradually coming up again.
