CrimeA Message From Hon. Anayo Osita Ukwu Labour Party Central Ward G/Lada by Dgctvmedia(op): 9:38pm On Nov 22, 2025
A MESSAGE FROM HON. ANAYO OSITA UKWU
Labour Party Central Ward Councillor Candidate Gwagwalada Abuja

My dear residents of the Federal Capital Territory,

As we enter the festive season, I want to reach out to every member of our community with a message of awareness, peace, and safety. The FCT, like many busy cities, has recently experienced some security challenges such as petty theft, phone snatching, and disturbances around crowded public places. While our security agencies continue to work tirelessly, we must also take personal responsibility for our safety.

This period comes with increased movement, more visitors, and more night activities, and that naturally creates opportunities for criminal elements. It is important that we all remain careful and look out for one another.

Please take note of these simple but important safety tips:

1. Stay alert in crowded areas like markets, bus stops, and event centers. Keep your valuables close and avoid unnecessary display of expensive items.

2. Move in groups whenever possible, especially during the evening or late hours. Avoid isolated or poorly lit places.

3. Ensure your home is properly secured before stepping out. Lock doors and windows and keep valuables out of sight.

4. Be cautious with online transactions and home deliveries—use only trusted and verified sources.

5. Report any suspicious activity immediately to community security, estate guards, or the nearest police station.

6. Reduce late-night movements unless it is absolutely necessary.

7. Keep emergency numbers handy and share them within your home.

This festive season should be a time of joy, celebration, and togetherness. Let us all stay vigilant, support one another, and protect our community.

I wish every resident a peaceful, joyful, and secure festive period.
May this season bring blessings, unity, and safety to all.

Signed,
Hon. Anayo Osita Ukwu
Labour Party Central Ward Councillor Candidate

CultureUmuoji Stand On Igweship Election Of 8th May 2021.* by Dgctvmedia(op): 4:59pm On Aug 15, 2024
Who are this faceless and political detractors in UMUOJI ?

Who are the evil men that want to deny UMUOJI their joy ?

*UMUOJI STAND ON IGWESHIP ELECTION OF 8th MAY 2021.*
____________'____________

Truly, igweship election of UMUOJI held on Saturday 8th may 2021 was never declared inconclusive by chief returning officer of the election ,
Section 9:5 of UMUOJI chieftaincy constitution clearly stated that the central executive council (C E.C) "highest decision making body of UMUOJI" should announce the new Igwe elect at the end of seven native weeks after the burial of the late Igwe.(28 days).

H.R.H late Igwe Cyril Enweeze last "ofala" was on *10th April 2021 and UMUOJI new igweship election was conducted on 8th may 2021, exactly seven native weeks of four market days (28 days) as stipulated in chieftancy constitution of Umuoji, this simply means that any other action regarding the election process after this seven native weeks is to be considered illegal and null and void.

Indeed, it was a total jubilation and celebrations in the four quarters of UMUOJI (Eziora, ifiteora, dimechem and Akala) on Saturday 8th may 2021, dimechem quarter whose turn was to produce the Igwe of UMUOJI voted in the election conducted by dimechem igweship electoral committee and they produced the Igwe elect of UMUOJI
as written and cited in section 9:5 of the chieftancy constitution of Umuoji.

The people of UMUOJI in dimechem quarter produced an Igwe elect on that very day in a keenly contested election that have three contestants.....

(1) Chief Kanayochukwu Okoye (Ichie Omekannia) from Umuechem village in dimechem quarter.

(2) Chief Obi Steve Onwuachu (Udemba) from dimboko village of dimechem quarter.

(3) Chief Simeon Mougbo (Ichie Chikwadoaku) from Urumkpu village of dimechem quarter.

After the voting process, it was counted and Chief Kanayochukwu Okoye (Ichie Omekannia) became the Igwe elect of Umuoji as he won with 473 votes against chief Simeon Mougboo who scored 459.votes and chief Obi Steve Onwuachu 359 votes.

...,in line with the chieftancy constitution of Umuoji under section .9:5, Chief Kanayochukwu Okoye became the Igwe elect.

Saturday 8th of may 2021 was marked as the final day to produce the new Igwe elect(28 days after the burial of HRH Igwe Cyril Enweeze.

On the result of 8th may igweship election we stand and nothing will change it even the propagandas and hide and seek game of some unscrupulous elements can't change it.

★ Soonest, this faceless detractors that called themselves patriots in UMUOJI shall be unmasked,

UMUOJI people have accepted chief Kanayochukwu Okoye as their Igwe elect in line with our UMUOJI chieftancy constitution,

Dimechem quarter have produced an Igwe elect for UMUOJI on 8th may 2021 for Central executive committee (C.E.C) to ratify.

That was where we are when Mr Greg Obi., former commissioner for local govt and chieftancy matters under the former governor (Willie Obianor) and those that called themselves God under his reign conspired to steal the joy of UMUOJI by introducing what they called "Awka directives" and set up a new date for election re-run on 8th of June which was actually selection, that was never rectified by UMUOJI central executive committee (C.E.C) and the Igwe/Regent in council which are the two highest authourity and decision making body backed up with constitution to decides and ratify in UMUOJI .
There was nothing like election on 8th of June because Chief Kanayochukwu Okoye and his Umuechem village never participated, it was purely illegal and ilegitimate selection of which the senseless and gullible organizers scored chief Kanayochukwu Okoye 0 vote in Umuechem his own village, meaning that if there was election that he voted against himself and his kinsmen voted against him...how possible ?

Greg Obi, a native of nnewi utu in Anambra state tried to deny Umuoji our joy by concerting what he and his co evil men in UMUOJI called "Awka directives"

*Note* ....we the patriotic citizens and common citizens of UMUOJI here by warn all the faceless detractors and evil men in UMUOJI to let our peace be with the Igwe elect of Umuoji in the person of Chief Kanayochukwu Okoye.

*Facts*..85% of the people of UMUOJI have declared chief Kanayochukwu Okoye the Igwe elect of Umuoji and waiting for C.E.C to ratify him.

Igwe/Regent in council have anointed chief Kanayochukwu Okoye as the Igwe elect of Umuoji.

85 % population of the 23 villages that made up Umuoji have declared chief Kanayochukwu Okoye the Igwe elect, infact we all call him "Igwe ohazulunye" (People's choice)

To crown it all, Igwe/Regent in council of UMUOJI and C.E.C of UMUOJI never appended their signatures on the concerted so called "Awka directives" that brought up the Umuoji drama of 8th June 2021 selection/
Kangaroo called election).

In conclusion...UMUOJI were in a state of jubilation and celebrations when the destroyer Greg Obi and his co evil men came up with their "Awka directives,
please..we want to know where it is embedded that Greg Obi, former commissioner for local govt and chieftancy matters who is from Utu Nnewi should be the authority to tell UMUOJI to drop our chieftancy constitution and abide by his so called "Awka directives"

UMUOJI,
C.E.C ratification is where we are now.....👉🏾

DR. B WEEPS OVER THE DEATH OF GOVERNOR ROTIMI AKEREDOLU

I am deeply saddened by the death of a mighty hero due to a disease condition like postrate cancer and / or leukaemia. In recent times, we have lost many illustrious sons and daughters to different chronic diseases. Death, surely, is a necessary end, but I am certain that some deaths, especially of persons that fall within certain age groups, can be averted to improve our current life expectancy, which is about 55.75 years going by WHO 2023 statistics.

There are several treatment options available to manage different disease conditions in Nigeria and Expert Holistics Healthcare services limited has recorded tremendous successes in managing these chronic and other disease conditions that seem like a death sentence, using naturopathic therapy cum various non invasive therapeutic
Processes to prevent sudden demise of our people and the human race globally.

For example, nuritional therapy, moxibustion, acupuncture, organic medicine and energy therapy, etc, are a few examples of naturopathic medical approaches that are highly effective in managing chronic disease conditions. These and many more are available at Expert Holistics Healthcare services limited

I hereby implore us to leverage other treatment options and hence make a positive impact to reduce the mortality rate of our people and thereby improve our current poor life expectancy.

Our forefathers lived long and were still energetic even at about ninety years old. This calls for a sober reflection into our lifestyle as we can stem the tide of these premature deaths.

In summary, there's hardly any disease nature cannot heal. At Expert Holistics Healthcare services limited, Natural principles are applied to help the body heal itself.

May the soul of the departed rest in perfect peace... Amen!

Crime*NLC Protest; Something New And Fascinating Brewing Under IGP Egbetokun by Dgctvmedia(op): 12:20pm On Aug 03, 2023
*NLC Protest; Something New and Fascinating Brewing under IGP Egbetokun.*

Comrade Kunle Sodipo

*pcrcngmediateam*

For keen and unbiased observers, Wednesday 2nd of August, 2023 protest by the leadership of NLC in Nigeria is proof that the principles of crisis management as being thought in different classrooms only become meaningful when the known strategies are effectively and brilliantly put to use such as displayed by the Nigeria Police Force under IGP Olukayode Egbetokun.

For many Nigerians, management of recent protests in the country has been a major concern for obvious reasons, which are majorly political, and how they were handled by security forces, especially the Nigeria Police. Surprisingly, what transpired yesterday during the NLC protest in Abuja and other major cities across the country is proof that the Nigeria Police Force under the current IGP deserves a distinction in the school of strategic crisis management.

Yesterday, in the most populous nation in Africa, we saw a Police Force with absolute professionalism, total regard for the rigths of every Nigerians to peacefully protests, and an astonishing sense of responsibility to protect the lives and properties of all Nigerians not withstanding their political, religious and ethnic background. This indeed is a signal that something positive is gathering momentum in the NPF, and we must now play our roles well as good citizens in support of the only Police Force that we can call our own.

The message is now crystal clear and unambiguous; that the expression of our rights as entrenched in the Nigerian constitution is possible if and only such expressions are carried out peacefully with regard for the security and safety of other citizens. We must always have in our consciousness that the same Nigerian constitution, which guarantees our rights to protests, also makes it a duty for the Nigera Police to maintain law and order with a responsibility to guarantee the security and safety of all.

PoliticsIGP Charges Nigerian Children To Shun Social Vices by Dgctvmedia(op): 6:55am On May 23, 2023
IGP Charges Nigerian Children to Shun Social Vices
As IGP Baba encourages youth on creativity

IGP Usman Alkali Baba, CFR, has urged Nigerian children to avoid criminal activities and other perilous and destructive attitudes that many of today's youth are prone to. The IGP who was represented by the Force spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, stated this today at the 5th edition of the Rainbow Art Unlocking Creativity, held at Cyprian Ekwensi Art and Culture Centre, Area 10, Garki, Abuja, today 22nd May, 2023

The program, which provided a platform for Primary School Pupils and secondary school students to showcase their innate talents, was chaired by the Minister of Education Hon. Adamu Adamu, and also had in attendance other heads of Ministries and Parastatals as well as media houses.

Speaking at the art exhibition and award-giving ceremony, the IGP attributed the decline in young people's creativity in this nation to their exposure to and participation in social vices including drug abuse, cultism, and the excessive pursuit of filthy money at all costs. Therefore, he exhorted the pupils and students present to abstain from all social vices, search within, and tap into their intrinsic creative potential for growth both personally and nationally.

IGP Usman commended all the participating teens for their extraordinary creative exploits despite seemingly opposing socio-economic factors. He also expressed his gratitude to the event's organizers – National Gallery of Arts, for providing the young chaps with a stage on which to showcase their God-given abilities and for recognizing them accordingly.
