Hi good day, have you eventually pickup your item from St Patrick international Logistics? I have a sea cargo with them, and they keep telling me stories that they are clearing since over a month now.

I was harsh on you because not only are you a child abuser you are also advocating violence against children l, which is beyond evil.

I experienced the horrors of child violence first hand and its not pretty. Its sad seeing people like you encouraging appalling behavior .

I am just wondering how is beating a child for an obvious bad acts amounts to child abuse or violence against him/her.

It's a free world, you may choose to discipline your child or not.

As I have said before I am not cutout for a gutter fight and you were not harsh on me, you showed what you really are as a person.

You are very stupid for using the generic term "we" . Not everyone is a primitive child bully and abuser like you. Shame on you!

May I ask? What impact has your generation that were well flogged made? Richer? Moral? Peaceful? Nothing.

Rubbish!

Quite sad how you spit out offensive words at me not because I insulted you or deprived you of your happiness but for my own personal comment on a public forum.

Exercise restrain with foul words, and learn to accommodate other people's opinions, not everyone is out for a gutter/pig fight. Shalom!!

Lol, how much is in your bank account?

Why should you in cooperate unnecessary fears in children? Thats why Nigerians youth are one hell of coward people, and their ancestors are still ruling them. What is the benefit of incooperating fears that would make children lack confidence

What does the money in my bank account has to do with the comment.

I never said unnecessary fear. Didn't you read where I said you flog a child when necessary.

The urge to reply shouldn't supersede our ability to read and understand.

Flogging still remains the best form of discipline. Most of us today that are around 35yrs upward are products of no nonsense fathers and luckily our lives turn out well.

Never give in to the intricacies of children, flog them when appropriate, don't play politics with their lives. The earlier we incorporate fear into them the better for our society.

99% of Nigerians have lost touch with humanity. We are no better than the political vultures we have as leaders. I feel so sorry for the future of this country.

If we must progress as a nation our laws should start barking and must bite, otherwise we will remain in this never ending loop.

When the youths are tired of the incompetency of the ruling elites,
When the youths are tired of the ever burgeoning state of insecurity,
When the youths are tired of their unemployment status,
When the youths are tired of complimenting political vultures that have destroyed their future,
When the youths are tired of endless distractions like bbnaija,

When the youths are tired of all these and other abnormalities, then Nigeria will be better for the next generation. Till then Nigeria scatter scatter.

Nairalanders, 2023 is fast approaching, are we going to allow these vultures in government and the civil service to continue to loot our common patrimony?

The country has no future for the youths of today because our parents kept mute when the vultures in government and civil service were destroying Nigeria and now tomorrow is fast approaching, what will be the fate of our children and our young siblings in this vulturised country.

It should be noted that in Nigeria we don't have political leaders, what we have are vultures running the affairs of the country.

Quite unbelievable that in your own country you are assume a slave, and treated as such.

The management should be prosecuted and the Indians repatriated as soon as possible.
Politics / Nigeria Police Rescue 300 Workers 'locked In Rice Factory' by dgr8truth(m): 8:46am On Jun 24, 2020
Police in Nigeria have rescued 300 people they say were locked in a rice-processing factory and forced to work throughout a coronavirus lockdown.

From the end of March the men were allegedly not allowed to leave the mill in the northern city of Kano.

The workers were promised an additional $13 (£10) a month on top of their $72 monthly salary - those who did not accept were threatened with the sack.

Five managers at the Indian-owned mill have been arrested.

The company, called Popular Farms, has not responded to BBC requests for comment.

Police spokesman Abdullahi Haruna told the BBC that the plant had now been shut down and the owners were being investigated for "holding the men against their will".

Some of the men say were forced to work most of the time during their incarceration, with little food.

"We were allowed to rest for only a short time, no prayers were allowed, no family visits," 28-year-old Hamza Ibrahim, one of those rescued, told the BBC's Mansur Abubakar in Kano.

'Living like animals'
The police were tipped off about the men's plight after one of them called a human rights organisation.

"What I saw was heart breaking. Where the company kept these people to live isn't fit for animals," Karibu Yahaya Kabara of the Global Human Rights Network told the BBC.

"Their meals weren't enough and there were no drugs for those that took ill," he said.Mr Kabara said his organisation was taking up the case to ensure that the men got justice.

Nigerian businesses were asked to close up shop in late March as part of government guidelines to halt the spread of coronavirus.

The country has more than 20,000 confirmed cases of Covid-19, the respiratory disease caused by the virus.

Lagos, in the south, remains the epicentre of the virus, but Kano - Nigeria's second-biggest city and the capital of Kano state, has the most cases in the north.

Lockdowns elsewhere in the country have been eased - but in Kano people are still only allowed to go out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to buy food at stipulated times.

Popular Farms workers say they were asked to double their hours in February as their employers wanted to stockpile in preparation for a shutdown.

By March they say it was decided to keep the plant going by offering them more money - or the sack - to stay on working.

However, having agreed to stay on the workers discovered they had been prevented from ever leaving the mill.

Politics / The Cunning Attitude Of Sterling Bank by dgr8truth(m): 1:29pm On Jun 17, 2020
I feel really sad because I believe I and other innocent customers of Sterling Bank have been cheated by Sterling Bank, the one customer bank. Here is what happened.

I sent a message to their Twitter handle requesting Naira to USD exchange rate and monthly limit on their Naira MasterCard. They replied my twit through DM stating the Naira to dollar exchange rate is N385 with a $2000 monthly spending limit, but should also confirm with their Onebank app because the rate fluctuates.

So on Tuesday morning I decided to initiate a $998.62 transaction after confirming rate from their Onebank app which as at the time of the transaction was N385, but I got a shocker when I received an alert of the transaction that doesn't correspond to the advertised rate on the Onebank app. The 970usd transaction was settled at N445, a whopping N50 difference. This is totally wrong. I believe the N385 being shown on their Onebank app is deliberate, and its aim is to deceive their customers.

This deliberate misinformation with its wicked aim by Sterling Bank should stop immediately. CBN and other relevant agencies with oversight function should upped the responsibility so that innocent Nigerians will not be swindled by dubious corporate entities like Sterling Bank.

If you have fallen victim of Sterling Bank or any of these Nigerian banks please share your experience.

It's really annoying, I just went through my account with stanbic IBTC and the charges for stamp duty a day is very sad.

The policy needs to be revoked, we can't continue to feed politicians who are wicked and stone cold.

This is how we will pay the loans they are collecting, loans that will eventually get looted.
