MBA is targeted at those who have dipped their toes into the professional world, while a specialized master’s degree – be it an MSc or a MIM (Masters in Management) – is for pre-experience candidates who may have only recently completed an undergraduate degree.

What are MBA and MSc?

MBA is for professionals who have few years of managerial work experience because practical aspects and situations are the core of an MBA. MBA is the gold standard in professional business education. The MBA course curriculum exposes the student to a wide range of management disciplines and provides a way of rational thought over management and a career in that specific area. A student can pursue an MBA in any specialized field such as Finance, Human Resource, Marketing, International Business, etc. The first stage of the MBA curriculum is same for all the student which includes mandatory modules and the successive stages are elective where the student can choose any specialization followed by an internship/project in the end.
Masters of Science (MSc.), on the other hand, is a specialized training in a specific discipline. For example, if a student wishes to pursue a career in the financial sector, the MSc. curriculum provides more course work in that area. To pursue an MSc. in a specific field generally the student needs to have a Bachelor’s degree in that same specific field because MSc. is more advanced and is a specialized course in that specific field. MSc. is ideal for a student who does not have any work experience as it’s a combination of theory and practice and is more academic in nature. Therefore, in all the stages of the MSc. curriculum, the focus would be on a specific discipline thereby making you an expert in one specific field.

North Cyprus, officially the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC; Turkish: Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti, KKTC), is a de facto state that comprises the northeastern portion of the island of Cyprus. Recognized only by Turkey. Politically: Cyprus is one sovereign state. Nominally it is not divided between North and South. Northern Cyprus is considered by the international community to be part of the Republic of Cyprus. The north is run by the Turkish Republic of northern Cyprus and the south is run by the Republic of Cyprus.

-Culturally: as a direct result of the occupation the South is Greek and predominantly Christian whereas the North is mainly inhabited by Sunni Muslim Turkish Cypriots.

- North Cyprus use the Turkish Lira as its currency, while the southern part use Euro.

- The North speak Turkish, while the south speak Greek.

-The North is much cheaper, the sand of the beaches and the sea is clearer, while the south is much more cosmopolitan and more expensive.

- The weather is generally very good with sunshine for most of the year. July and August are normally the hottest

There are very important things that travelers using OKTB must be aware which is missing in your abstract. It will be nice to present the positive and negative outlook of things so the users can be well-informed.



So I will write it down here in conjuction with your earlier positive aspects of OKTB.


1. OKTB on a general note is more expensive than using a visa since for a visa, you may still be able to use one-way ticket which can be cheaper depending on time of flight and airline.

2. Like visa (having a valid visa does not mean you are 100% guranteed entry to any country), same with OKTB. So, OKTB needs to be assured by 3 entities in case of TRNC. It must be legally approved from the airport of departure in Nigeria, must be assured with authorities in Istanbul (Turkey) and Authority in Lefkosia (TRNC). Many fraudulent agents sometimes dont get the approval from Turkey and TRNC and bribed off their ways from Nigeria which often results in deportation of the traveler.

3. If traveler using OKTB misses his/her flight and will need to rebook another flight.....it means that OKTB has gone and must be reprocessed again making it more costlier in that case.

Thank you for your contribution, I acknowledge Okay to board has a few drawbacks, notwithstanding, the advantages are all there to see. Due to the backlog of applications, getting a Turkish Visa is currently difficult, it is easier to use okay to board to North Cyprus since it is approved by the authorities in North Cyprus and Turkey. Our students currently use Okay to board and barely experience any difficulty.

What is Okay To Board (OTB)?

OTB grants you permission to fly into a country without a visa , it can be used by a person to board an airline (provided it is approved by the airline). All you need to do is present all the necessary travel documents as approved by the embassy at the airport and you'll be allowed to board.

You are able to travel to north Cyprus, with OTB using Turkish Airline, OTB is airline specific. If you can get OTB for an airline to your destination, why go through all the hassle and tussle for visa? OTB is less stressful and quicker to process compared to applying for Visa.

However, kindly ensure you meet the following requirements:

-ACCEPTANCE LETTER from the school,
-International passport data page
-Original SSCE result.
-Flight Ticket (return) -Turkish airline
-Original Documents
-PCR Test result
-Apply for Okay to board 2 weeks before flight
-Check in 6 hours before flight
-One thousand dollars cash in possession
