Please I’ll like to confirm, can I use someone who isn’t family as my sponsor for North Cyprus student visa application? Like a family friend and he is willing to sign the sponsorship letter, provide bank statement and Means of identification?
Yes, if someone who is not a family member wants to sponsor you, then a letter has to be provided by the person, stating their relationship to you and that they have decided to be your sponsor. But, the best sponsor is usually a family member.

According to https://cypriumnews.com/2019/10/24/trnc-new-visa-rule-details-published/, https://www.olomoinfo.com/2019/10/north-cyprus-starts-new-residency.html and https://mfa.gov.ct.tr/consular-info/visa-regulations/, Foreigners who complete their higher education in a two-year program or studied and graduated at least in three years from a higher education program that lasts four years or longer can be granted a visa valid for 30 days. Also, they can be issued a one-time residence permit for maximum 6 months if they apply within 60 days of their graduation.

There is nothing like permanent WORK and residence permit in North Cyprus.

If a person get employed you only get a work permit that has different classes based on type of employment. This is not permanent, it’s temporary and renewable by the employer.

A person can only apply for permanent residency called white card in North Cyprus after working in TRNC with temporary work permits for 6 years without interruption.

NOTE:
Also; very few foreign graduate work in Cyprus banks and those few are commonly those having western countries passport.

All information here must be real, truth at the time of posting and must not paint exerggerated details for prospective students.
Thank you, we have verified the information and updated our comment

unlike some countries, after completing your studies you need to leave the country immediately , is that the same policy in Cyprus?
Also, students who graduate from North Cyprus universities could get a working permit if they have finished at least their undergraduate studies. However, Graduates need to have an offer from an employer before they can apply for a work permit. In most cases, the employer applies on the worker’s behalf to get the necessary permits from the government before the worker starts to actually work in that employer’s company..

Please stop posting contrasting information on this thread.

OKTB is not a visa. Visa is a sticker pasted on applicant passport after meeting all embassy requirements and the visa can be used via any airline.

OKTB is a code only seen by the airlines official during the trip, not a sticker and cannot be used by any airline ...it’s can only be used just by the airline that approved the OKTB.
I apologize for the error. I will correct it accordingly.

Ok sir, but for me to use OKB I have to have a visa already right ? And I did some research’s today and I saw that I have to apply for my visa appointment 2 months before the day I want to depart and school starts next month. Is there a way I can meet up ?
Ok to board can be used by a person to board an airline (provided it is approved by the airline). All you need to do is present all the necessary travel documents as approved by the embassy at the airport and you'll be allowed to board.

In Cyprus 25-27, in Turkey up to 30 years.
The school can grant you admission even if you are over 30 years, but you wont get a visa because you would be considered too old for an undergraduate program, hence we recommend a maximum age limit of 27

Please, I know we constantly hear that there is no job (this information cuts across several countries). But is it possible for one to earn just enough for feeding and accomodation while studying in North Cyprus?

Also, is online business allowed as a student in the country? (Legit o)
There are jobs, however you need to make contacts and have sufficient networking to boost your chances of getting an adequate job, furthermore, online business is permitted as long as it is LEGAL

But were can I get a cheaper school? North or South?
I would recommend North, they have more affordable universities. You should consider Cyprus International University and Eastern Mediterranean University both in North Cyprus.
