SA is just a battle field. They've been known for their terror lifestyle. They always want to make sure they show their true blood. Come to look at it. Nigerians wouldn't do anything. Blissfularray:Yes I agree that proximity is key , but for someone that lives on the mainland and got a job on the island. It's not my fault that I have no place to crash on the island and it's not the company's fault having their offices on the island. Just that I've seen differences in salaries based on both and I can not work on the mainland based on the poor take home. But salaries on the island are higher but to get one is hell, they keep switching off n on. Meanwhile like you said on your previous message, small companies on the mainland needed people but couldn't catch up with the pay. It's way lower, transportation will consume it all and one will be left to nothing at the end of it all. Now for those on the island, just few companies have apartments for their workers/ staffs , which helps allot because I discovered nearly 50% of those working on the island are living on the mainland and half of them are sleeping on the street. Ive been there, I couldn't cope and had to come back home after 4 month . I know it's hard on employers same way it's hard on employees. But they shouldn't just rise people hopes and then let them down at the end of the day 1 Like |

It's just so sad that one will send dozens of applications out and get no response in return. Even the physical ones will tell you " we will call you " and you wouldn't get a response , while the online interview ones will even take you through the second or third interview and still ghost you. Only jobs that the salary can't put you on track for 12 days will be winking at you because of distance. They will mention proximity as if you should move your house to their street  3 Likes |

This is a very valid point in a man's life. When I started this journey as a kid, I thought it was a punishment. I had an elder sister who was in a catering school back then. Any time she's in the kitchen, I'm always with her, come rain come sun. Even when she have practical at school, I will be the one running here and there for her. All of a sudden I graduated to the cook of the house. Even when I was in the university and I came home to check on my parents, I'll end up in the kitchen. My wife finds this unbelievable because whenever I get home from work early before she comes back from shop, I've performed my magic, and the magic is still working till tomorrow . The fox is still running !!! |

They are actually not the same. I met one, many yrs ago when I was transfered to IBADAN. He was kind enough to collect only the house rent from me, maybe because he saw that my wife was heavy. And I gained allot from him. After a year, It was easier for me to buy few plots of land and I've developed two of it. He's just God sent. I don't know if he's a demon to others . 3 Likes |

Agent of the devil. Their life is always as bittered as the way you do your face when they bill you. I usually see some around where I stay, it's their office, uncomplicated building. And they will be abusing someone that they want to extort . I read it on here last week or so when a tenants mentally met with landlord and discovered his rent is #300k and not 800k that agent has been collecting. He has been there for 5yrs or so.
