This is very funny. I have a story contrary to this.

After I had my two boys I decided to always stay home instead of going to the pub to drink. I have my bozz in the fridge so I can drink whenever the kids and their mom are at the shop. One day I discovered the drinks keep reducing and whenever I ask her she will say it was my first son, though he was still an infant and he had once opened the fridge to give me a bottle before that he wants to taste it. So I kept quiet. One day I emptied the whole bottle and put salt and water in it then moved it to the freezer. My people came back from shop and after 20min my wife came to me and said why is the drink tasting salty. Was it because it was in the freezer. That was when I knew it wasn't my boy who did it. I had to spill it out to her

Happy Sunday guys, this have accusation of labeling me yahoo guy in the compound have happened on many occasions during compound meeting, side talks etc.

But I’m not to be sincere I’m a freelance website developer working from home, I have worked for lots of people even on this nairaland, within Nigeria and abroad at the comfort of my home.

What use to trigger this labeling is because most of my neighbors go out in the morning and come at night and I’m always indoor (at home) living good.

So this have been causing side talks and even confrontations from some neighbors.

Most times I have been explaining and try to prove to them, that I’m a freelance website developer that I worked from home.

I also need your advice guys, to deal with those neighbors.

I remember when I was still working in LG electronics many years back. I was liking in a rural area in ibadan because I have some properties around which I don't want to be far from. I was like how did you get to know where I'm working. The man laughed and said, they all had a meeting to arrest me so I can provide the rest of the boys that I'm operating with. But the DPO they went to report to actually knows me. He was the one that told them I'm working and I'm as responsible like every other family man in the neighborhood. That's how they left me alone and became friendly. That's my side of the story. You can try and meet the CDA chairman. So that you can visit the CDA meeting one day with your systems and do some presentation for them so they can leave you alone. Rumor moves faster you know... And we don't easily digest the truth because it's bitter.

That could be me someday...

Betting is not actually meant for everyone. Same way going to olosho house (short time) is not meant for everyone. You got caught up with an attitude that doesn't go along with your lifestyle. There's always a price to pay.

This morning, I was preparing for church while madam told me the gas has finished and Sunday rice is still on fire. Had to put something on and drove out to the gas station because the local vendor in my street will not come till after church service.

On getting to the filling station, I heard there was no gas . I went to 5 different station and there was no gas.

I drove back home and plead with my neighbor to allow us finish cooking the rice.

Then my neighbor said she bought it 2k per kg yesterday. My jaw dropped.
