seunoyeleyep: Leave sentiment, ogbeni. Your religion is a cancer to the universe. Who in his right sense goes about killing humans in the name of fighting for a god? Extremists exist in every faith your logic picked the wrong target. Blame humans, not the book they read. |

Politics › Re: Peter Obi Reacts To Nnamdi Kanu's Life Sentencing by Dhury: 2:58pm On Nov 22, 2025 |
Obi’s statement ignores the core issue no country keeps quiet when its citizens are killed and security forces attacked. Calling Kanu’s conviction “failure of leadership” is unfair. IPOB’s violent wing created fear, destruction and loss of innocent lives in the South-East. What exactly should government do ,fold its arms? Dialogue only works when the other side respects law and order. You cannot preach unity while defending someone whose actions deepened division and unrest. |

Jaylord12: I Don't have any problem if u disagree with me,i am only said the onus lies on you to defend evil......if this is what you call trying then I don't know again what I will say about other nations who show zero tolerance to terrorist...if life imprisonment or death penalty of Kanu will bring lasting peace to the East, what stopped same measure to other terrorist..Abeg It is impossible to defend APC without compromising the reality on ground...No one will ever want to see is nation in disarray. Peace has been returning to the South East since the IPOB terrorist leaders Kanu and Simon were arrested Their imprisonment made the so-called unknown gunmen disappear and brought back freedom to the people they held hostage The fact that you’re not happy about this says a lot — maybe you’re not really for peace after all. |

VOsimhen144: Nigeria military, police and DSS should Go and track terrorist in sambisa that killed a Brigadier general like a chicken 🐓
It’s a shame that they couldn’t track the terrorist that killed a whole Brigadier General under 24hrs but they can track Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya 🇰🇪 How many soldiers, police, and other security officers did Kanu’s foot soldiers kill in the South-East, yet you ignore all the evidence and still defend him online? Even his legal team failed to defend him in court — so why are you still defending him? |

If we don't address the fulani terrorist how will it come to an end? You called me “part of the problem” because I said terrorists should be treated as terrorists and not a tribal association. Wow, brilliant logic. By that standard, accuracy is now a crime . |

zeuss: Why should they be ordered to go in without air force cover? Are they even serious about the fight against Fulani terrorists? Of what use is the Air Force if they cannot be used as advantage in operations?
My sympathy to the galant patriots injured in service of others My sympathy to the gallant patriots who were injured serving others. And honestly, I wanted to ignore your Fulani-hate rant, but silence would be injustice. You’re busy shouting “Fulani terrorists” when you don’t even know who the attackers are that’s peak hypocrisy. Terrorists from other tribes magically become “unknown gunmen” because sentiment is now national policy. At this rate, our security challenges won’t end anytime soon if we keep playing tribal favourites. |
Islam › Re: Sheikh Assim Al-Hakeem's Visit To Nigeria Causes Controversy. by Dhury: 9:33am On Nov 17, 2025 |
If the speakers are truly extremists, the authorities should present clear evidence—not rely on assumptions or fear. And if they are not extremists, then blocking them without transparency only creates more suspicion. Foreign or local, knowledge should be judged by content, not by nationality. What we need right now is fairness, open dialogue, and unity—not power struggles between councils and student bodies. Nigeria has enough problems already; adding unnecessary religious politics won’t help us grow. |

Justiceleague1: Cameroon dodged a serious bullet in rejecting this man... in fact they are lucky. Imagine a Fulani person as Cameroon president....these fulanis would troop into Cameroon, flood the entire country and you all know what that means!!!! They've spread themselves all over from Senegal to Gambia to all the W.A Guinea countries,to ivory coast,Ghana, Benin,Togo,NIGERIA(the worse of all)...
These people are a serious threat to west and central Africa and they are still pursuing the mission of their grand grand grand...father Usman Dan fodio.... instead of writing tribal horror movies, we should focus on real issues: bad governance, corruption, insecurity, and the politicians of all tribes who actually cause them. |

What are Nigerian Moslems hiding from Nigerian Christians? This kind of statement is exactly what keeps dividing Nigerians. Many Muslims have condemned killings, just like many Chrisistians have. Terrorism has no religion — criminals use religion as a cover. Blaming a whole faith for the actions of extremists is unfair and dangerous. Nigeria needs unity, not more suspicion. |

GerogeI: Does anybody take BBC serious anymore.
For Africa, they routinely recruit poor performers from Northern Nigeria, who could not find jobs after getting undeserved scholarships from the Nigerian Federal Government to study in UK.
These are the ones dishing out ethnic propaganda in the name of journalism using the BBC brand in Nigeria. Every media house has its flaws, but accusing the BBC of ethnic favoritism without a single fact just weakens your point. Hold them accountable if you must — but don’t turn journalism into tribal talk. |
