Can someone clarify for me the historic difference between Calabar and Kalabari in terms of European settlement? Was "Kalabari" a term given to the people in Rivers State before europeans settled in "Calabar" near Cameroon? Were the Efik in "Calabar" before the "Kalabari"? |
