Calitoscassius: I agree. The Arabs has bought almost the whole central London anyway. Driving their huge Lamborginis, Ferraris and Masseratis along Kessingnton high street, Oxford street, Paddington, Burkingham palace road and knightbridge.
I moved outta London years 12 years ago, it became to congestessted over crowded, expensive and polluted. I also grew up in London so i thought i should try the countrysides now that i have kids, i wouldn't want me sons to join London gangs.
Before i moved outta London i even tried to live in East london, E17 where i also grew up as a child but that didn't work. That is Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, Hackney and Chingford area. well walthamstowe is 2 stops away from my old hood Tottenham on the Victoria line. Black horse road then walthamstowe after Tottenham hale. It’s a good thing you moved out. London is not the same again. The soul has left the city. |

I had a 6 weeks holiday job at the Surrey Quas shopping centre. Working in burger king at the time. I think i worked at Argos also along Old Kent road towards the Toys R US. hehe bro all this is my area in the past anyway. But of course I moved around too. I also did Tottenham and seven sisters area for a while and then the whole upton park east ham west ham canning town and Stratford. What can I tell ya papa was a rolling stone, wherever he laid his head was home 😆 |

Calitoscassius: You are totally correct. Makes so much sense.
It can be scary. I remember when i dabbled into runing barber shop in South London. I was adviced to register, in the end i started getting these scary letters from HMRC. I wasn't even making that much. In the end i wanted to shut down the shop quickly but someone else bought me out. I had to inform HMRC in writting that i am no longer the own of the business. It is not an easy thing running a business in the UK, if it was many people would do it. The UK tax system expecially on business can be very complicated, it isn't a straightforward system hence many who understands it could dodge taxes and the ones who do not understand it pays for it. this is where the accountants who could charge up to £100 an hour comes in.
This recent taxation and VATs are way too extortionate. My council tax just went up. I ve already got their bloody letter. Water bills has also gone up by %44. It has become too expensive to live in England, just only in England. Wales and Scotland are still very reasonable to live in. hehe bro that place sounds very scary. You have to be on your toes all the time. That cannot be life ooo. They put you on this hamster wheel from cradle to the grave. Life is too short for all that nonsense now. Which is why japada is trending now. People are starting to realize their life wasn’t so bad in Nigeria and they are running back 🏃♀️. Hehe barber shop in South London ? What area ? |

Calitoscassius: i See, so what happened was that the tax man assumed earnings has been made? hence the demand for income tax. If that was the case she should have informed HMRC that there was no income. (One can do these things themselves without an accountant) Is it also that, she made income but not a enough to pay tax on but still have to fill in an income tax file regardless otherwise she gets fined for not filling. I see. But filling is done yearly, (every March) she could not have been fined until the year runs out, unless for past year/years.
I believe if she was on a PAYE she wouldn't find it hard getting a job, co's she would not be seen as a self employed doctor, self employed doctors i assume demands for more pay. I believe her case is that she got scared. The tax office set a bar for her to reach and she is not too strong or too healthy to reach it and she knows it so she quit. You see these taxations are calculated way before you start what you are doing. For example it’s like council tax ? When you move into a house the next day or two they have sent you a council tax bill of 1500 pounds. You haven’t even lived in the house upto 2 days you already have 1500 pounds billing . It’s same with Locum. As you set up your company dem done calculate based on your profession how much you will earn and dem done send you taxation billing of tens of thousands of pounds. So now you have to go out and produce. It’s scary especially if you are lazy or unhealthy . So she quickly dissolve her company to end the billing. But I suspect she is not very driven and that’s OK. Now technically had she paid the tens of thousands in taxation but she didn’t make enough ? Then the tax refund kicks in and she gets refunded some money |

Sheuns: Good. Always use recommended fluids for tranny no matter how expensive. I wasn’t trying to save money, it’s the establishment that put the tranny fluid in it. I thought they knew what they were doing I have to tell you though if I was an aggressive person I would have totally destroyed my tranny. When it is struggling to enter gear I could have pushed down harder on accelerator and then destroyed my tranny. But when I saw it struggling I would get my foot away from the accelerator. This is what saved me. |

fineboynl: I tel you it’s not because of the filter but the fluid. ahhhh I see. You may be right. In fact am leaning towards your suggestion because the filter didn’t look very bad . Must be that made in china fluid. The viscosity was off. |
Car Talk › Never Attempt To Change Transmission Fluid Without Changing The Filter by diamond68(op): 9:49pm On Dec 27, 2024 |
So this place changed the fluid for me after fixing my engine, I mean they took out the whole engine to rebuild the crankshaft. I have to give them props they did a marvelous job. People were already telling me to condemn engine and buy new engine but they worked their magic and engine is perfect. However they decided to change my transmission fluid and did not change the filter. Bro the car refused to enter gear. I mean it would enter eventually but it would be a huge struggle. Like you would hear the struggle. Like grating noise. I struggled with this thing for 4 days thinking okay it’s cuz the engine is just fixed and things will soften up but it refused to soften. So I start researching on the net and found out it’s bad idea to change tranny fluid without filter cuz the new fluid will knock out debris into the filter and clog it then your tranny will not be receiving fluid. Also the tranny fluid she used was made in china. Had no name just Chinese lettering so between this fake tranny fluid and no filter, the car refused to enter gear. So today I googled mechanic near me. Got this guy to come over, he jacked up the car, removed all the fluid, went and bought fluid from Toyota with Toyota labeling on it and then changed the filter. Boy I took that car on a spin am telling you the car was gliding like an aeroplane . Moral of the story ? Don’t use fake tranny fluid and change the filter too

Abduletudaye: Noted.
I didnt just start the car as that wasn't what you recommended.
I turned the key to the label "II" such that all lights on the dash came on, then I proceeded to pump accelerator five times.
Kindly confirm if this is in line. Thank you. the pump must be really bad. Check the fuel pressure to see if it’s low . |
