I am interested because my fiancé say he will be punish if he live in a house with kids that is not his

I have a serious question. I am engage to a prince in Issele-Uku Nigeria. I have kids from a previous marriage. He told me that my kids from a previous marriage cant live in the same house as he do. I am from America and I am supporting him and his family. He plan to come to America but tell me to send my kids away because he can't be in the same house with them. Please tell me if this is true before I go any further. He is from the tribe of Ibo. I need to know before he come to America at my expense. Can a Ibo man from Nigeria live in a house with a woman who have kids from a previous marriage.
