A Florida man was arrested this week after cops say he stabbed a dog for always taking his girlfriend's side in arguments.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said Mike Lado, 26, came home drunk Wednesday morning before getting into an argument with his live-in girlfriend.

According to the police report, Lado went into the kitchen and retrieved a knife then stabbed the dog twice as it approached him.

According to WINK, the girlfriend told deputies that the dog, a rescue named Blu, was not being aggressive when it followed Lado into the kitchen.

Instead, police say they believe Lado killed the pit bull because it showed favoritism toward his girlfriend.

An necropsy will be conducted on the dog.

Lado remains in custody on $5,000 bond.

After news of Blu's death broke, the shelter where he was adopted posted about the sad incident on Facebook.

"Domestic violence is wrong and ugly 100% of the time. This time, the grave circumstances took the life of a former GCHS shelter dog, Blu, while doing what dogs do...being protective and loving," Gulf Coast Humane Society wrote. "Please, be aware of domestic violence and the ugliness it brings to families and, yes, to pets."

It is unfortunate that a great nation like ours has not been properly packaged for consumption by the international communities. “Yet, there are more evils in other nations than we have in Nigeria but the reports going out about our country is such that no one will want to come into Nigerian unless for those who want to take risk.” No nation can grow with this arrangement.

A mother-of-three has said there’s nothing wrong with having sex with her husband while breastfeeding her baby.

Another mum has also defended her decision to breastfeed her baby while having sex with her husband.

Mother-of-three, Tasha Maile, says there’s “nothing bad about making love at all”, even if you’re breastfeeding at the same time.

The controversial mum told her YouTube followers in a new video that she’s still facing backlash from a clip she uploaded in 2015 about her now ex-husband, titled “Do I have sex while breastfeeding?”

The mother has gained a large online following because of her spiritual beliefs and the way she raises her three sons, Josiah, Soul and Love.

But to some of her loyal following, this was a step too far, and Tasha is receiving backlash for her comments nearly two years after the video was posted.

The vegan blogger took to the video-sharing site once again to defend her comments, slamming her critics.

Tasha told The Sun: “From what I remember, I remember sleeping with my ex-husband and my son was on me breastfeeding and we would have sex from behind or something.

“There’s nothing bad about making love at all, ever.”

The controversial vlogger says in a follow up video to defend her actions to her critics that her three-month-old son would not allow her to put him down, so she was with him all the time.

Tasha said the couple would make love while their baby was sleeping next to them or on her.

Critics had posted on the previous video, which has now racked up more than three million views, condemning the mother for her decision.

One said: “How can you be turned on when your child is nursing…?! I agree with her that sex is important and natural, but come on, not while you are feeding your baby! Wait a few minutes! ”

Another chipped in: “I wouldn’t want my children to be watching me and my husband make love that [sic] extremely personal.”

But not all were so critical. One user said: “She’s so open and in touch with herself. It’s beautiful to see somebody like that. I’ve always been much too worried what other people think and repressed. ”

Another said: “Completely natural and normal. I have no idea how some brainwashed people can see it as a disgusting thing. ”

The Nigerian government has stated that no one would be left out in the campaign to enlarge the tax revenue.

She said some beggars were earning millions and that “proceeds from begging are taxable. You are supposed to pay taxes even if your means of income is begging”.

Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun said this in Lagos at a lecture at PWC’s Business School, with the theme: ‘Voluntary Assets and Income Declaration Scheme (VAIDS) Interactive Session for Executives and Business Owners.’

She said to ascertain the income status of the companies/individuals and their lifestyle, investigators would rely on information derived from Bank Verification Number (BVN), records of property ownership, records of foreign exchange allocation, and records of company ownership from the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), among others.

Adeosun said: “We are using some firms to trace assets internationally.The investigators’ findings will enable us to compare the income and how much tax the company/person is really paying, and that gives us lots of information.

“But we encourage people to come up and pay their taxes willingly. You can register a high-end car. It tells me something about your income.

“So, we look at your tax returns. If you registered Mercedes E-Class and you are paying N100,000 tax, then something is wrong. Those are red flags. We now have the capacity to assess people accurately.

“We are trying to build an economy where we have oil and other things. It is going to be oil plus and wider economy”.

Residents of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital have been thrown into confusion as bomb explosion ripped the city Tuesday night.

Residents said the explosion was heard around Molai Kura, an outskirt along the Maiduguri, Damboa road.

DAILY POST reports that the development has forced some residents to flee their homes.

Although there is no official report as at the time of filling this report, sources hinted that the first explosion, which went off around 10:15 pm, was followed by another one.

He added that at an interval of one hour, the third explosion was heard.

A call was put through to some residents around Jiddari Polo area, who told our correspondent that they were also confused as nobody knew from where the explosion was coming from.

Our correspondent also reports that security vehicles were moving towards Molai general area, as soldiers were seen passing in front of the Bakassi IDP camp, and heading towards the NNPC mega station, along Molai road.
